Always nice to see people dancing in the kitchen first thing in the morning :tango: ...I'm partial to a little of that early morning, barefoot, slow dance in front of the fridge action myself.

Music...thank you for a lovely breakfast as always...and I promise to handle dinner tonight. No clue what's on the menu though....any requests? Maybe we can get the lovely Freyja to bring some of those baked goodies for dessert. Woot woot to my KitchenAid sister! :)

I have conference calls today, so I'll be in and out...and gotta' confess...I went to the old site this morning...and didn't like how it looked, and found the ads a bit intrusive. Not sure about all that....guess I'll wait for a consult with my sweetie to see if we're moving back home or unpacking all our stuff right here.

In the meantime...maybe I'll (virtually) slip back in under the covers with her for a little cuddle before the :alarm: ....and looking forward to the day I can do it for real.

ahhhhhh Ally...my sweet,wonderful femme friend i think that is a wonderful idea(minus the real stuff of course) and ill even spring for them...i think i saw a Big Lots ad that had tiaras on sale....ill get you all 2 each...i know i know im too sweet for words...what can i say i like to make people happy.

MM...wonderful breakfast as always,but i forgot to change damn batteries in the camera so i didnt capture the dance dangit...next time perhaps

anyway its friday...been a busy day...itas hot as hades--and i realized this morning how to tell when summer is rapidly approaching south florida...those lil salamander,gecko,lizard thingies start reappearing...saw a big one in bathroom at work today,and needless to say its a good thing i was IN the bathroom


anyway gotta go get ready for dinner rush...see you all tonight...

Pot roast is ready...plus salad and biscuits. The pies smell wonderful (and Scoote will be happy about the chocolate....she does love that!). Braedon, very nice...and I hope one of those reds is a merlot. It may not be classy but it's my favorite. I hope everyone is hungry and ready to eat :eating:

I'm never sure how many places to set...we can always add more if we get a crowd.

Kat...what a wonderful idea about the tiaras! :) My original halo got lost in the super freak incident...and the aluminum foil just doesn't seem to hold up well at all! Sweetie...I would like pink rhinestones in mine...just sayin' :princess:

Dapper...thank you for the heads up on the other site. Truly, when we opened up the kitchen it was a temporary place for all of us to gather while renovations were underway. But...like my sweetie and Kat...I'm thinking of taking up permanent residence. The folks are friendly over here...and I just feel a bit more at home. The old place seems a bit hard to navigate...and the ads annoy me....and all of our pictures got ripped off the walls...kinda makes a girl feel unwelcome. :blink:

There are friends I'd like to see come this way...so we'll have to see what we can do about that. Maybe my sweetie can do her super hero thing and go rescue them :supermanbooth: (Okay, baby....I know...but I just really really really wanted to use that smilie :) ...thanks for humoring me baby)

Alrighty then...dinner is getting cold...and my sweetie should be walking through the door any minute...time to start dishing up dinner. OH! And, of course, I'll put on a fresh pot for afters.... :bringcoffee:

Hmmm you know its interestin that you should mention that Jo, because I do have one merlot as well as a cabernet sauvignon so I do have abit of a variety due to everyone having different tastes :D

I'll help with kitchen duties if you need it bro, and if you wanna visit the patio before din din then I'll make sure to bring the beer :clap:

Good morning Honies and Homies, for freyja today i have some up-tempo Salsa music going on in the kitchen.

Breakfast is on, We have omelets, poached or scrambled egg, fresh croissants,bagels, cream cheeses, we have, sausages and bacon. Crispy home fries and grits. Assorted fruits and dips. Juice, chocolate milk, Dr. Pepper for Scoote and coffee.

It's a cold and damp day where I am, good day to stay in, put a fire on and work lol lol lol.

Thank you for the Tiara's. I enjoy this site much better to. It took me almost an hour to figure the other site out and now it is in maintenance mode..

by ten am yesterday it was in the upper 80's here and it sucks since I don't have the a/c fixed in my car yet. Going to see if my stepdad can figure out what is wrong with it tomorrow when I go to my Mom's house.

Working on Penpal thread project making 5, 4 X 6 cards with a "real tree", 3 D water, and browns and blues taken from a childhood memory. As things are dying I am drawing.

Trees. with, and without backgrounds, All kinds. Black and white drawings for a coloring book LeftWriteFemme and I are creating called "Fill Me In Trees".

She does all kinds of books, and her coloring book series is entitled
"Fill Me In", "Fill Me In Too", and this one will be "Fill Me In Tree". She also colored one in, "Filled In", plus one called "What the Birdies Told Me About You" in color, and it's companion, "What the Birdies Told Me About You Coloring Book". So, family is the consensus that people will be staying here and not going back to the other site?

Speaking for myself (one who is trying to adapt to change and not liking it lol) the other site isn't doing anything for me. It was fine the way it was . Easy to navigate albeit a bit slow near the end but still it was a good site.
