I have really enjoyed listening to other selections of stringed music supplied by other fabulous members here! *Thank you* :bunchflowers::bunchflowers::bunchflowers:

For those of you not too familiar with Caron Wheeler (soul II soul artist),
she's got some fabulous stuff (and fans of her music, as well) out there on the interwebs! I'm leaving some of her stuff afternoon - check out the layering of strings in the songs below! * I like them a lot*

Yo-Yo Ma's exquisite interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's
"Suite for Solo Cello No. 1 in G Major: I. Prelude" is cast against
a montage of beautiful photographs of nature.

I came across artists new to me (some introduced to me)
and thought I'd leave a few 'new' videos to enjoy tonight...

1) Submotion Orchestra: Finest Hour

2) Jose Gonzales: Far Away

3) Heinali - The Sun will rise yet we won't be here

4) Ulrich Schauss - You were the only one around

5) Lady of the Sunshine - White Rose Parade

*enjoy*

PS/ I really like the lyrics of Finest Hour:
I often wonder what it might feel like
to 'waste' my love - just give it away,
no questions asked. I don't know that
it's something I feel comfortable with but
what entices me to try it is the knowledge
that maybe doing so might be the sweetest
experience for the reciever of such an act.

*night night*

Thanks to your bump, I stumbled across this thread today and am super glad I did. There are some great posts here!

I have a more traditional take on "strings" and am a devoted lover of the quartet sound. Here are a couple of my faves. :)

The String Quartet - "No Surprises" off their Radiohead Tribute album "Strung Out on OK Computer"

Bela Fleck's "Perpetual Motion" album is also a favorite in the car :)
