No I'm a North Carolinian but have lived elsewhere. But I did like it there in Galveston.

Trying to get a kiss when we wake up in the morning. A peck is okay but nothing else. I say I want more and she hides under the covers. I don't really want one till after I've brushed my teeth, but tying to get one beforehand is a guarantee to make her giggle. I miss that.

Picking up the phone and just calling people when we think of them. I feel like so much drama and emotional damage covers all the great support people could give each other. I miss just picking up the phone and talking about everything, I miss those people.

The sound of the ocean when I wake in the morning... Living more in the country has it's downfalls...

Being able to just fall asleep at night, insomnia wins a huge majority of the time.

Missing Momma D and all the baking and candy making we'd do this time of year. I miss her presence and her spirit.
