Hi everyone! My name is Doe and Im new here. Im in Boston now bu:newbie:t moving down to Knoxville in June. A big move for me since Ive been here my entire life! Anyway, its a gorgeous day here about 85 and sunny. Gonna take the dog out for a good walk and make something yummy for dinner. Then maybe go visiting for a bit. Thanks for the welcome everyone! I got out yesterday and walked 5 miles with the dog and then had dinner with some friends. Today is a new day. one of errands and then a nap before working my 16 hour overnight shift! Its a real good thing I love my work!Lol anyway.. have a great day everyone!

It is a beautiful, fabulous Friday here. There is snow on the mountains, the air is crisp, and I am feeling totally blessed.
I found a new place to live, and I will be able to watch their sheep grazing, listen to the birds, walk the dog along the water's edge, and enjoy life in the country. You are all invited to the first big barbeque!!!! Candice |

Thanks Lucky.. Im sure it will be great. Im looking forward to the change. Starting a new life can be scary but also awesome. Im really excited and up for the challenge. Im driving down next month to find a house. Then when I move down Im gonna be jobless but hopefully not for too long... Hopefully I find a job before the bank account hits zero! I have faith so Im not worried yet!

Good Morning to everyone in the Single's Cafe. So what's on the menu for breakfast today? My menu was left over pizza from dinner last night. So much for making my homemade biscuits and gravy. I hate cooking for just me. Hopefully one day someone will be around to enjoy Sunday morning breakfast....

Hello everyone and good morning. Its been a cold and damp week here. Im keepin all sorts of busy with work friends family and packin and sortin for the big move. And wouldnt it figure that this past week has put an amazing butch in my life path? Dont know how this is gonna go or how it will affect my plans, but Im looking forward to watching it unfold! Back from being offline for far too long! This site is blocked at work - - so I'm limited to checking in on my phone, intenet cafe (which I'm doing right now) or when I'm at my SIL's.
Last week wasn't the best - - car broke down and I missed a day of work because of it. Hopefully it won't be held against me - - as a casual/part time employee it is a real fear that any shift could be my last. The new fiscal year started which is another cause for worry for a bunch of us. *sigh* And there was a huge mix-up with one of my jobs. for some reason my timesheet wasn't turned in on time (3 weeks late! thanks to supervisor) and then they held it up over an address mix-up. In the end they sent it to the department where I work. However - they sent it on a Friday and didn't tell me. Since I didn't have to work that week I had to wait until I did go in to work - - over a week later. jeez - it took over a month to get paid for that job. what a mess. And then everything went to pay the repair bill on the car! But - - on a positive note: it isn't raining and the weather is kind of nice - - a bit cool but bearable. Have been trying to keep expenses down (not having much luck!) so I am rereading a bunch of books. I've read 2 Jane Austen books and am now working on Anne of Green Gables. My SIL is quite the reader so she will have some books that she is finished with that I can pick up later this week. Hope everyone has a good week! Hope to be back again soon! |
