No, but I much prefer crushes that way. Makes it much more straightforward if you're not holding out hope of a crush developing into something more. Everyone has a different perspective on these things - for me, crushes are primarily warm and playful more than a desire of romance or a relationship.

I love this description! warm and playful is good. And for ME, anyway, that would/could encompass lots of my friends on here who I adore.

i can't keep a secret when it comes to a crush. i like to talk about people, ... say who makes me feel good.

you know those people you meet and you don't really like/click. but then later on you find that you absolutely adore them. these people, i've had quite a few in my life, ... turned into crushes. strange!

I think it's healthy to have friendly crushes on friends.
You're in love, but not dead, so crushing on others without crossing those love boundaries you share with your partner is ok IMHO.

Well, that plus the fact that this thread is rather voyeuristic, in a non-harmful way. Always interesting to see who is crushing on who and also to see those who apparently never crush and make a big play on it - sometimes seems a bit of protesting too much to me but I could be wrong.
