Yesterday, I managed to squeeze in a run to the thrift store, and I found a small Crosley Retro Turquoise radio! I've been looking for one for a couple of years, and just looking at this one, makes me smile.

homoe 02-10-2017 06:06 PM

Not a damn thing however tomorrow will be a different story!

C0LLETTE 02-10-2017 06:12 PM

I bought a lemon merengue pie . I demolished it in about 3 minutes. Now I'll wait again another 10 years to have another one.

Demolished it in 3 minutes you say....so either you were terribly hungry or that was a very small pie:giggle:

Neither...it was substantial but you'd be amazed how much time you can save if tou don't bother with a knife and fork...and just walk into the shower after eating.

Thanks for the tip! I'll remember that next time I eat a T-bone:giggle:

C0LLETTE 02-10-2017 06:41 PM

Hasn't anyone ever told you that a rib steak is far superior to any T-Bone. T-bones are for people that think that paying for a huge bone means they're getting a good meal.

Gemme 02-10-2017 08:45 PM

Stuff for work.

DapperButch 02-10-2017 10:46 PM

A little research...

Two pairs of underwear.

It is time for me to change my underwear (hardy har har) style, so I ordered two pairs to get my research on!

RockOn 02-11-2017 04:23 AM

Nothing yet, it is 4:20 a.m. ... but I have to go to Home Depot either today or tomorrow ...

cinnamongrrl 02-14-2017 02:22 PM

I went to the thrift store to find a new leash for Bitsy...hers nearly severed my finger.......

so

I got the leash

and a two room tent for camping this spring/summer/fall

and the book Gone Girl Ive been wanting to see the movie, so this is the next best thing.

and...I'll admit it....a fanny pack for hiking. It has lots of storage and can hold water bottles too. No shame in my game.

and I got an adorable necklace with birds on it.

I think that's it

also got a phone card and a quick, cheap lunch at McDonalds when I was leaving Walmart.

and gas

and electric service for another month. that was the least fun I've had spending money.

Hey I like fanny packs too! I prefer them or a backpack to a traditional purse/pocketbook. I do use my big hobo bag, though.

easygoingfemme 02-14-2017 06:01 PM

A visit to the vet for my dog. (regular physical/shots- he's fine)

And the results are in!

I am officially switching to this style of American Eagle 3 inch trunk after spending 20 years with Calvin Klein. They come in mainly unattractive patterns, but they feel good and have a thin, yet strong fabric. I like a thin fabric because then there is no bulging in my dress pants. 96% Cotton 4% Elastane, for this one particular pair (which is perfect).

They are significantly cheaper than my calvins, too.

bright_arrow 02-19-2017 12:18 AM

Cat stuff (bigger litter box cause these fluffy butts like to kick out litter, bag of cat food)

Personal hygiene stuff (Shampoo, conditioner, hair mousse since it's raining so much I don't bother drying my hair)

Groceries (Stuffing, rice, raspberry vinaigrette, lettuce/spinach mix, feta cheese crumbles, roasted red pepper hummus, 40 ct box of popcorn at Costco, almond cookies, berry mix for Sodastream marked down to $1 at Staples)

Filled up the car. Also bought iced tea at Starbucks and two BK chicken sandwiches post-Target, pre-Costco shopping.

A Starbucks Frap...........

RockOn 02-19-2017 07:19 PM

Hey Dapper

I went and looked at the link at American Eagle.

*me tinkin' Dapper's girl will need sunglasses when she looks at Dapper's new draws*

TehHehHeh! ;)

Dapper, I love AE ... especially their pants for guys. They have not gone totally crazy yet with putting the stretchie in ALL their pants yet. And I have a cotton jacket from AE that is lined with flannel. When it is really cold, it is my go to. Keeps me so warm. I have worn it for years.

Gemme 02-19-2017 08:24 PM

I bought the anniversary edition of Vogue, a mag about the 100 most influential women in the world, a fridge magnet with an inspirational message, a package of greeting cards and a tiny coloring book. I tried to buy dinner but I apparently had enough reward points on my card so I got it for free. Sweet!

candy_coated_bitch 02-20-2017 12:42 AM

I had the most wonderful hobo bag. I got it right here in Asheville. I had to retire it before it ripped...I've yet to find another one that I feel any sense of attachment for :(

girl_dee 02-20-2017 03:51 PM

Gayandgray 02-20-2017 05:33 PM

Five years since you got new shoes? So either you're very easy on your shoes, very fussy when it comes to buying new shoes, or hate shoe shopping???

SmoothButch 02-25-2017 05:46 PM

I bought a pair of black leather, hardcase, locking saddlebags for my motorcycle & paid two bills.

Gemme 02-25-2017 06:16 PM

Too much.

Soft*Silver 02-25-2017 06:31 PM

a wall thingie to hang my brooms on

Blade 02-25-2017 10:01 PM

Well I actually bought it Wednesday, but it wasn't delivered until yesterday. A brand new certified preowned
2014 Ford f 150 4x4 long bed.

Yes I know I just bought a 2016 in October, that is exactly what my insurance girl said.

candy_coated_bitch 02-25-2017 10:53 PM

Dinner and drinks out.

cinnamongrrl 02-26-2017 05:56 AM

yesterday

I bought a new cell phone. Finally. My old one, the keyboard would just randomly disappear while I was writing. It made for a lot of frustration and incomplete Facebook posts

Gayandgray 02-27-2017 03:25 PM

Coffee flavoring syrups for my iced coffee I take to work in the mornings, a German chocolate cake and a red velvet cake, dog treats, car gas, Hylands nerve tonic homeopathic pills.

I had my own store for a while so had a LOT of shoes. I wore them out and never replaced any until now. But I am fussy indeed about shoes. I prefer to have three really good pairs of shoes instead of twenty irreplaceable ones....

Jesse 02-27-2017 03:57 PM

BACON! I think this little guy expresses my sentiments about bacon precisely, though I did manage to refrain from squealing while in the grocery store!
