***CRUSH UPDATE***

After our first date, my crush is still intact and growing. She enjoyed Mary Poppins and laughed at my jokes. She likes me because of my quirks not in spite of them. How can I not crush this woman. :)

Okay, as the resident curmudgeon, I'm slightly concerned that there's been a bit too much good news and laughter on this thread recently. This makes me feel very uneasy.

Can we please have some posts about unrequited love or something along those more miserable lines to make me feel more at home?

I've never actually heard anyone say "youse guys wanna" other than on the Sopranos, but I know it happens. There are so many subdialects kicking around. In my area of Connecticut we're rhotic speakers but once I get close to the Rhode Island border I start hearing the non-rhotic pronunciations (butter as butta/ park as pahk, etc.).
