My hernia is really bothering me tonight. It feels like all my intestines hurt 😔
Left work 30 minutes early because of it but I was there 9 and a half hours already lol.

A bit better having seen my doctor and discovering that the cause of my weakness is due to my blood pressure having gone low. Apparently if you have atrial fibrilation, bp-testing machines work out your bp wrong, the only reliable way is using the old manual method - and at hospital they only used the electronic version.

So anyway, yesterday evening I had a smidge of salt on some sandwiches, and today I start on half the dose of amlodipine (which should reduce my swollen ankles, yayy!). Might be psychological, but I'm already feeling a tad better. And at 11:00 I'll be watching my beloved Blitz Dames take on Brawl Saints for second place in the Brit Champs, plus a couple of other bouts!

A little better after a really hard week. Took my daughter to college on Wednesday. She was so incredibly homesick for the first 72 hours. Uncontrollable sobbing when I was there, texting me from bathroom stalls after I was home- while she was hiding and sobbing. BUT things are starting to get better. She has made some friends, met her professors in her major department, was offered an assistant stage management position in their fall play, and a few other good things. I feel like I've been holding my breath for weeks over this.

Nervous and trying not to be nosy, where its obviously femme territory...

I am out of sorts.

Couldn't get my chainsaw cranked earlier today. Then I relized the spark plug is about a year old. Drove 32 mile round trip into town to buy a new one. Came back, got in installed and it still will not crank. I wanted to get a few small pine trees cut down and out of the way so I can put up more fence.

I will drop it off with the STIHL dealer this week - let them have a go at it. I refuse to take it apart and troubleshoot ... the warranty doesn't expire until next month.

I accomplished some pittle-some things but nothing grand.

Mostly a washout of a day for someone who likes to see the progress meter rise! :(

Much improvedr. Oh, I'm still weaker than normal, but just two days on reduced dosage of blood-pressure tablets and I'm already feeling stonger and didn't tire so easily.

It was nearly 100* here today, but I feel pretty good. :hk22:

happy we get to go see daisy today and play with her for a while.. and maybe bring her a toy.. then sad because I have to leave tomorrow morning..

I am ANNOYED.

Mainly just work stuff but people are working my nerves today with inserting themselves into projects that don't belong to them and trying to micro-manage grown adults who truly don't need to be managed.

Seems to be the people who know the least about the project are the ones who think they need to be telling the ones who know the most what to do.

I just sent an email that said:

Thanks for your input but Z has been on this project since January and has some pertinent background information that you are missing that explains the current decisions.
If you could give Z some space this week, she is working through the constructed attack plan and I believe many of your concerns will be addressed in whole by the end of the week. She does, however, need to focus on the task list in the order that was approved to mitigate any further delays and piecemeal emails and requests are not helpful in this limited time frame.

I'm so happy and excited....

My honey told me last night that he wants us to sneak away to Salem this weekend. I've been telling him how cool it is at Halloween and he's anxious to go!

It'll be his first time so I'm super excited to play tour guide and show him my favorite things as well as try something new together. (Haunted trolley mayhaps??)

A little overwhelmed with everything that is on my work agenda for the next month. September will be one of the most trying months of the year, as it usually is, but I am confident in the blood, sweat, and tears that I've put into everything thus far for the contract year.

Also, my throat is ouchie like I swallowed baby porcupines...and all the other good stuff that comes along with a summer cold. :cough:

Right now? Like nothing I do is ever good enough for some people.

I'm hot, and I'm tired of feeling sick from the heat. It will be 110* during the daytime until Sunday, and even though it is a small issue compared with other things going on in the world, I can't wait for it to "only" be 95*.

Okay but tired. Didnt' sleep well. Had a sinus headache off and on all night. Inhaled an essence oil mixture someone created for me. It helped, but the headache returned a couple times in the night. I'll take it easy at work today, if possible.

Missing her terribly.

Like a truck hit me after almost 12 hours at work tonight. Too sore and tired to even eat dinner.

Confused. I woke up at 5:30 this morning (not my normal time by any means) after 5 hours of sleep, and I'm up for the day. I want my additional 3 hours!

A little tired but I'll be okay. Getting myself mentally psyched for my work weekend. Monday is my holiday to work too, but I only have to do the 3pm-11pm shift then I can come home. :hangloose::hangloose::hangloose: I'm just grateful right now to have a job to go to!

Satisfied, pleased . I figured out what is wrong with my air conditioner. Now all I have to do is call the office, have them send maintenance over to swap out what I used as a temporary fix with a real part. :)
