I didn't smile. I laughed hard for about five minutes.

My niece and I are having a sleepover tomorrow. I'm talking to my ex about this and ask if she has bought Ari a new swimsuit. My ex says "no, why would I?" I said "It doesn't fit. Ari tried it on last time and it's too small." Dead silence from the other end of the line.

My ex says "How can the swing set not fit Ari anymore? I know the backyard is small, and it's a tight fit to get the swing set in, but it fits."

My ex waited patiently for me to stop laughing, with several interruptions to tell me how patient she was being.

I'm so glad someone else has my hearing every once in a while.

I made out like a bandit tonight at auction... including two NEW bed frames (with storage underneath) I'm thinking of donating one to Habitat Restore; a rare, short antique iron sewing table base that I'll make into a high dollar coffee table; a BEAUTIFUL, large antique wooden box with hand cut corner joints that will become a great "upcycled" project; an old, small tool vice; and a new, heavy duty, rolling "shop cart" with 2 deep sided shelves that will make a perfect dog grooming cart to install my large stainless sink on the top shelf (at belly height) after drilling a hole for the drain.

I'm too excited to get some projects done tomorrow. Especially the grooming sink that will make my job so much easier.

waking up and realizing it is a three day weekend (some kind of holiday on Monday)

Submitting my request for diploma for end of next semester.

Sending my mom a wedding dress picture, her loving it, and me then ordering it.

Pouting enough to get my way lol

Only having to run the dishwasher once today at work.
Co-worker surprising me with cake pops and letting me pick one.
Planning our "buddy lunch" at a local ramen place next week.
Wedding talk with my future SIL.

I am smiling so hard at the routine JD and I have fallen into when it comes to FaceTime.

We've FaceTimed every night for the entirety of our dating and I just LOVE how it feels like we are really together. We do our dishes on camera, we talk politics on camera, he reads to me, we take baths...the whole thing.

I love our connection. Can't wait to get moved so that it's real and in person every night. :blush:
