I don't know what it is that Pup made, but it was NOT what I'd been served before as corned beef. It was goood. :tease:

Berry, thank you for allowing me to save you from the key lime pie. It was AWFUL. I did you a favor. Truly. :eyebat:

Thanks, OilyPup, for purposely inviting us again into your home. Ya'll are suckers for punishment...or maybe just suckers...I'm not sure yet but I plan on taking advantage of it as long as possible. We had a blast and enjoyed ourselves immensely, especially the card game (and that's a fact!) Or crap!

Dude, you will be missed! Safe travels and please give Arnold and Honey hugs for me.

Spending the night with you all was a lovely way to welcome Spring.

Hee hee hee -- ancient German recipe for the Irish neighbors (CRAP)

Yep Oiley is a sucker. I'm a flying chicken. CRAP!!! oh, maybe fact.
It was a great gathering of a wonderful group of friends. (FACT) Glad you could come - we might accidentally invite you again (CRAP) oh, I meant purposely. (FACT)

Anybody have an idea to gang up on Dude and force him to stay here? I had to leave on a trip today, but I left stern instructions to Oiley to steal the wheels from his RV and hide Arnold. Let's see if that works. If it doesn't, we better move fast or he'll slip away (FACT!!!! :-( )

Pup, I have to agree that that was the best corned beef I have ever had (Fact). I don't even LIKE corned beef (Fact) and I couldn't get enough (Crap-I ate enough, believe me :) ).

Thanks to you both for hosting another wonderful party, a comfy bed, and a great breakfast!

Dude-Safe travels, and please come back to visit :) I'm a great tire-slasher, but alas, I am stuck here at work. We need to coordinate these things better, Pup!

Diva 03-21-2011 09:29 AM

I would like to apologize to the group at the party Saturday evening for my abrupt departure. It was rude and there is no excuse for it. I have already written to Pup & Oiler, both by PM and by snail mail, to say the same.

Any time you need some flavor in your parties, you know who to call. Ghostbusters! Crap! Ebon! Fact!

Just remember to text ME.

Even if Oiler did that, Dude still has that Jeep thing.

I could make the sacrifice and steal Honey. Because I'm a giver like that.

I think we should Pupnap her and force her to make corned beef for us every week. :tease:

Didja get pancakes? Ebon woke up yesterday morning moaning and groaning about pancakes. I offered to drive us back but he said no. Fool. I would have done it too.

Jason's can't quite cut it. But, in the spirit of not pushing it, I'm willing to negotiate. How about every week for a month, and then we'll cut back to every other week, except for holidays, and my birthday?

We have get~togethers on a fairly regular basis, but I wouldn't say they revolve around happy hours (except for Shari cuz she's a DW :eyebat: )...........but I'm sure we could do something while you're here! Would love to meet you!

Keep us posted as the time draws near. We have folks who will be unable to attend because they work in the evenings, too, so that will be something to consider.

Glad you're comin' into town! You'll adore Austin!

Arwen 03-21-2011 11:10 PM

C and I had a great time. :) Sorry we cut out before "Crap or Fact", but you know... :)

He's almost home now. Got stuck in traffic on his way out (accident).

Thanks to Pup and Oiler for being awesome hosts as always.

And the food? OMG, the food! :hamactor:

This is actually kind of funny (a bunch of hours later) but the Jeep would not go willingly. She didnt like the tow bar and chewed up her tires and then I forgot to put the hitch pin back on to the damn hitch. So, this morning while it was still dark I am draggin the transport by the chains down pup and oiler's
street.

Then, I left some tire marks on the next street because she was locked up on one side and would not roll freely athough very much in neutral.

Then 12 miles out from Fort Stockton a front tire on the rv lost it's re-tread.
Luckily, there was room to limp it along side of highway the next 12 miles ,doing 20ish.There just happened to be a do it all mechanics and tire place just a small way after the exit. Could not find the mongo lugwrench for this bad boy anywhere. They also hooked me up with a used spare.

Reportin live from a very fn noisy(aint never gonna sleep) right on the damn highway Walmart parking lot in El Paso.
