Running errands with my son's girlfriend. She's got such a fun upbeat personality, cheerful disposition. I always have “oh I don't want to go” syndrome. But when I push past that, force myself to go out with her to do the stuff that needs to get done, I actually wind up having a good time.

A little boy at my work told me a joke today. It went something like this:

Why did the chick... no, how did the chicken...um...so there was this chicken and he was...um... trying, um... Ok so there were a lot of cars on the road and they were going really fast because it was a BIIIIG highway...and this chicken was trying but he didn't want to get runned over so... wait... So the chicken was on the side of the road and he... So do you know how did that chicken cross the road and he didn't get runned over by all those cars?
