Spending time with my family, including my amazing partner who was very tolerant of our idiosyncrasies.

I do not think anything has happened from this past Sunday on that has not been smile worthy. That in itself is no small feat. I have a lot to be smiling about.

My mother's sense of humor: She sent me a Santa hat, a delicate apron from the 1930's, and a picture of Taurus (she always thinks I'm Taurean, rather than a Gemini, LOL). Hee Hee, I love my (((( Mom ))))). :cheesy:

It was actually last night, and it startled me at first.
Heavy knock on my door, lead to a delivery of a package that went to the wrong apt. It was a perfect delivery on Christmas day eve. After finding the note included, I was smiling huge. Perfect timing. |
Getting a ton accomplished in my room today. Nothing beats an absolutely clean room.

Betsy, the 3 year old cow... She managed to escape the rodeo, last summer, and is wandering an Alaskan park of about 4K+ acres. I hope she remains free and safe and is never found, *lol*. I remember the herd of cows we had on our family farm (we had Holsteins and Black Angus cows), and how our cows Bossie and Flossie (twin sister cows of the Holstein herd) were always finding ways to escape. Betsy reminds me of Bossie and Flossie. :)

Getting my brand new shiney stop watch in the mail. Not the vintage one I wanted, but a very classic metal digital one. I think I will like it much much more.

I had a good day at work!

Holding a sweet 7 week old baby. It was at the end of a very trying day at work. The director of the daycare downstairs from me walked by with this beautiful baby. I followed her, as I often do when she has a baby in her arms, and begged. She happily passed him over and we snuggled and smiled at each other and made silly faces.

Loki and Gracie were having at it this morning and he sensed he was on the losing side of things so he decided to gain the upper hand and sat on her. She weighs 6 lbs soaking wet. He's over 15. Unfair advantage!
