No worries, Cath - I think I am going to do a "crazy-ghan" and use the different sizes and stuff. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out!

PearlsNLace 05-04-2010 12:39 PM

Im being a tattle tale. Somebody may want to beat a certain guy over da head with a 2x4, I know for a fact it will help get him moovin. I think its possible that work is kickin his arse really hard, and some encouragment would be a good thing. He means well. Hes just bone tired.

Not mentioning names, of course.

Just well, sayin.

So tell him we are sending encouragement! :knit:

and thank you bunches and bunches for the update!!!!!!!!!

Arwen 05-04-2010 09:37 PM

I stalled out at 7. I am going to do my best to get them mailed out this weekend. Thanks to everyone who has sent theirs! I really love what I'm seeing.

I just got back from a crazy road trip so let me get things settled and I PROMISE I'll get you your squares with interest! :)

Welcome home, love!

fishinabaggie 05-10-2010 08:45 PM

I am so sorry I am so late!!

I hurt my arm a few weeks ago. Seeing another doc on Thurs to see if I tore a bicep muscle. I have been in agony!!!

It is feeling good enough to put the finishing touches on them by this weekend I hope.

I don't blame you if I am barred from any further projects involving arms and yarn!!!

I LOVE the squares I have gotten! Thank you all. :)

Again, I am so sorry. I'll post again when they are in the mail.

fishinabaggie/Liz

amiyesiam 05-10-2010 10:39 PM

I don't think we will bar you for being in pain!

Bit 05-10-2010 10:40 PM

Oh Liz my golly I am so sorry about your arm! Tearing muscles is really awful! Please darlin, don't push it on the squares on my account, okay? Get better and be good to yourself.

Is anyone else going to send pink and green squares, or should I go ahead and start putting the raffleghan together? I can wait, if I know more squares are coming.

Arwen 05-16-2010 09:10 PM

I have two pink and green squares. I also have ALL my squares right where I left them. Sigh. I'm back to my 1-10 shift so I am going to attempt to mail out before work. I suck at the mailing part of this game.

amiyesiam 05-17-2010 12:04 AM

I posted a pic of my squares all laid out. I have three rows sewn together.

Dont feel bad - usually i am the pain in the ass! LOL

I would like to know as well, just so I know if I can just put the ones I have received away for a bit. Jess is on a tidy tear around the house these days!

Arwen 05-26-2010 04:00 PM

I'm allergic to the post office.

Actually it's just that it's a major pain in the ass to get to one from where I am. I know I can't do it until Monday at the earliest.

lipstixgal 05-26-2010 04:53 PM

I crochet too what are you guys crocheting?

Do you realize you don't have to go to the post office? I rarely go there. I log on to the post office. and print out my labels and leave stuff for the post man or drop in in a mail box.
you just have to be able to weigh your package. You can get mailers at most stores.
and thank you for responding

Will mail REAL soon (along with the regular one).
I will put a pic in my gallery so you can see what I am sending you, Bit.
Thank you everybody for your patience. My arm is doing much better and I will get to putting the finishing touches on the squares.

SOMEBODY has to be organized, darlin! Thank you for keeping this going; I appreciate what you're doing!

Well, I'm nowhere near as organized as Ami is, but I can tell you that four stamps were more than enough for two squares! :cheesy:

I looked for alternate places for you to try, but I cannot really tell if they're close to you. They're in the same zip code though.

Office Depot is probably your best bet for a place with a scale and regular mail pickup. http://usps.whitepages.com/service/abn/office-depot-2101-s-lamar-blvd-austin-tx-3600g0304

Here is the list. http://usps.whitepages.com/abn/TX/78704 It includes CVS and Walgreens.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Liz}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} How cool!! That means, with Arwen's two, we'll have eighteen squares. The raffleghan grows!

I'm so glad your arm is doing better! Hope you get your life back right away; I just hate being sidelined like that!
