On a beautiful day, a clean house with music playing and the windows open with a cool breeze blowing through Knowing that my loved ones are safe and well |
having my bills paid on time, my rent paid on time, having money left over to buy food and medicine, being alone in the quiet times.

.... Knowing my family and friends are safe and that they know that they are loved, the sunset, the stars in the sky, walking along the beach and taking in the smells, the sights, the feel of the waves over my feet, yoga, practicing staying in the moment, soaking in a bathtub, with candles, and music playing, laughter , sharing time with family and friends , a massage, the mountain sights on my drive home from work, cuddles and snuggles, my definition of good music which covers many genres, writing , drawing and so much more....

Today, my peace is coming home and cuddling with my pups after spending a hard day at work.

i find peace in....
Silence.....in watching the sun go down.....watching it rain.....the dark clouds and the smell of rain.....I find peace waking up in the middle of the night....feeling my dog cuddled next to me. I find peace in exhaling a deep sigh and feeling the stress of the moment melt away. I used to find peace in her eyes...now i find peace within myself. |
Today i find peace....
In being prepared for our snow/ice storm tomorrow.. Extra batteries, plenty of firewood, candles, flashlights, food, blankets folded and ready, and a full tank of gas in my car. Bring it storm!!! :pirate-steer: |
Seeing the sun rise
Listening to jazz My living space Grass Reading, watching, or listening to James Baldwin Brushing and petting dogs or horses Being near an ocean, river, or lake A good game of chess Erotica Making soap A full tank of gas Children’s laughter Creating a visioning board Growing older Accepting my imperfections |
Peace
I find peace at my little ranch with my lady, the wildlife, and my cats.
|
Listening to music in the morning when I wake up.
Looking around at all my blessings Waking up before the house and just taking some time to enjoy the peace for just a moment. Being by the water, a lake, ocean, stream Going exploring in nature Knowing that God's Got this! |
Cultivating simplicity in everything I do brings me the most peace.
In that way, there is always time for enjoyment of all stripes. I probably still have far to go in that regard, but I don't feel in any hurry - just cutting down on the extraneous bit by bit until I arrive there and enjoying the ride in the meantime. What is very interesting is to observe how unsettling this sort of idea is to so many people. It is approaching time for me to take a wide detour. But please don't ask me what I mean by that because I'm not exactly sure myself yet. |
What brings me peace....is revelling in Nature's wonders....the rainbow, the water, the squirrels, rabbits and deer that cross my path on my way to work some days. I get the greatest peace from knowing that I'm cared for and loved.
|
Peace
Family, friends, my partner, nature, music, the beach!
|
Knowing that I am a better person than those who do not wish me well.
|
I am most peaceful when I am near the water.
MeditatIon always brings me peace.. Having all my kids home at the same time. My animals (babies) |
Tinkering with my fish tanks

|
Forgot one
Having all my bills paid with money left over
|
Sitting in the sand by the beach....with dolphins in sight! Water....calm, clear turquoise.....ahhh...and gentle breezes of salt kissed air...
|
Being direct and ignoring the bull.
It's a balancing act, but it's one worth mastering. |
Thinking about our place in the universe; our insignificance in the scheme of things.
|
Also, listening to music. :cheesy:
|
Music
Kayaking at out of the way places Riding through the Hill Country on my motorcycle, especially when the wildflowers are blooming Quality time with family, bio and chosen |
Spending quiet time in the woods listening to the sounds of tranquility - the wind in the trees, the birds singing, the insects buzzing, and the water burbling over the rocks.
Painting and art journaling. |
Love and War
Now that summer is going,it's the memories that bring me peace.Damn, there's Vegas and Mexico yet *snort*
It's also jumping in my van and driving far far away..if I could drive into the next world I would...my time,my space, being alone,I need it..of course life goes on and I make everyday count.I help me and others have a good existence..because one day, this will all be gone. But until that day comes,we're here to enjoy life and have some fun ..and always throw in a little danger :shark: It's my life and..better than a hearse and grave. |
Right now I'm searching for my peace...my mind is not quiet and my purpose is undiscovered.
But....sitting with my wife and holding her hand is pretty darn close! |
My space. Having space to be on my own, without expectations, quietude, on the my couch with a cup of really nice tea and a book, a picture puzzle, or a logic puzzle. And a purring cat.
