I've been all over the map with listening to various kinds of music today,
but I'm ending my day with, what I think is the most haunting rendition I've ever heard, of Toru Takemitsu's orchestral peice called, "From Me Flows What You Call Time." This recording was from a few years ago, performed by members of the La Jolla Symphony, at UC San Diego. *Merry Christmas* |

I'm not usually into guitar music but I love this one. Usually my enjoyment of strings is more orchestral or quartet based.

One of my most favorite songs of all time, "Moon River" by Henry Mancini and Savannah's own Johnny Mercer. What most people don't know is that Moon River is an actual place....an actual river. I practically grew up on it, spending many summers fishing, swimming, crabbing and water skiing on it. To this day, listening to it takes me back to those golden years of growing up Southern, in Savannah......and Moon River. :heartbeat: ~Theo~ :bouquet: |
