Mail...

I really enjoy visiting my local post office! I buy my stamps there, and mail my bills from the drop box. I truly enjoy handing the box of goodies over to the clerk to be weighed, insured and sent to the unsuspecting receiver! Pure simplicity :)

I regret coloring my hair again. I had it all silver, then colored it about a year ago. Its been a PITA ever since and I miss my silver hair. So, I am growing it out again, gonna get it butchered off very short, then let the silver come back in.

When I turned 30, I started dying my hair a deep auburn. I got more dates and phone numbers than I ever had before. :| I kept that up for about 10 years. Then I let my natural color grow back out. When I first started getting gray hairs, I tweezed them out. Then as I got more, I dyed each gray hair individually, because I didn't want that 'dyed hair' look. Talk about a PITA! Then finally I just let it go - although I still occasionally tweeze the occasional 'wild' gray hair that grows in all weirdly kinky.

Yes, I am vain about my hair.

I can type without looking at the keyboard so well, that I could type in complete darkness. I am also a fast typer so I always win arguements that take place on a computer. LOL

JDeere 04-16-2017 09:02 PM

I have 4 sets of grandparents, 3 pairs are deceased, one pair I am not sure of.

girl_dee 04-18-2017 03:15 AM

one thing about me is i have a tic that i am very self conscious about. i dislike very much when people make Tourettes jokes...

WolfyOne 04-18-2017 06:10 AM

I have had my hair trimmed twice in about the last 6 years.
Once in Arkansas and once in Illinois...Arkansas does it better ;)

GeorgiaMa'am 04-18-2017 06:59 PM

Sometimes when I can't sleep and I'm really desperate, I listen to "beautiful music" to fall asleep. ("Beautiful music" is what we used to call "elevator music" - instrumental versions of pop songs from the 1940s until now.) Usually it makes me sleep like a baby - unless by coincidence they play a string of songs I know the words to. Then it's like karaoke as I sing along in my head, and I still can't sleep.

Kätzchen 04-18-2017 07:12 PM

I'm sometimes very, very quiet when interacting with people in one-on-one situations, or quiet even when it's among friends.... like at dinner party. This quietness of mine will often confuse people who've known me for years because of prior work history, where I don't really get the choice to be quiet. But, in general, I'm a quiet type of person, and I like that about me.

girl_dee 04-19-2017 03:21 AM

i was 12 years old when i found out my siblings were not my fathers children. My siblings were subjected to years of his abuse and learned he was not even their father.

it threw my family into a final tailspin and destroyed what little we had- my siblings were my closest allies, and i lost them.

Nothing good ever comes from lies

Kätzchen 04-19-2017 10:09 AM

I have an aversion to "Daddy" types of personality or person's who are of the "Sir" types of personality/persuasion. I won't date those types of people or let that type of behavioral choice have any place in my life.

Orema 04-19-2017 11:10 AM

I have a barely noticeable bump on my bottom lip from a childhood accident. My partner is the only person who's ever mentioned it or intentionally kissed it.

I have a scar on my right eyebrow from a childhood accident, very few people have noticed it....

Gemme 04-19-2017 06:02 PM

I have a scar on my upper lip that tends to go unnoticed as well.

Bèsame* 04-19-2017 10:28 PM

I have 10 pairs of scissors. Each one has its own purpose :)

Violette 04-19-2017 11:53 PM

I have scars on my lip and eyebrow from childhood. Interesting to see scars on the body. Some stories are remembered, some are lost.

MsTinkerbelly 04-20-2017 09:08 AM

I have a scar in the fold of my eye lid.

When we were young my mom let us play in the car all the time, and I even had her keys. So, I wanted to see if the keys would fit in the crack where the window rolled down...they fit, but they got stuck on something.

I got frustrated, and leaned over to look while I yanked on the keys...and as the keys finally came loose, they cut open my left eye lid. I'm darn lucky I didn't poke my eye out!

girl_dee 04-20-2017 11:11 AM

We all have scars and Besame has scissors... just saying...

I haz scissors too but none of mine match the scar. Does Besame have coffee can scissors?

girl_dee 04-20-2017 11:19 AM

I have another scar on my arm. When I was a child my brother hooked me with a fishing hook right through the meat of my elbow. And it went all the way through. My father sat me down and said he could either cut it out by cutting the hook and just pulling it.through, Or we can pack up, quit fishing and go allll the way to the hospital.

You can guess what I told him to do ..

Gemme 04-20-2017 11:31 AM

I have a crooked, slightly doped up looking smiley face on my lower abdomen from a kidney surgery. I think the doctor sneezed when he was cutting me.

NavyButch 04-20-2017 12:25 PM

I have a scar on my left knee (near my kneecap) where I fell when I was little and a piece of slate cut right there under my kneecap.

Thankfully it did not involve scissors. I am concerned about the theme here (as girl_dee pointed out). Just being funny it did make me laugh for real.
