Good evening everyone...It has been over 2 years since I have shared on the Planet, but I am back and just wanted to say hi, what a great thread. I will be 55 years young this year.

Gayandgray 02-27-2016 12:08 AM

Hey all! FireSignFemme, nope I'm not much of a Steelers fan.:jester: My stepdad was. And he was a huge Phillies baseball fan. I always preferred the Pirates.

Link doesn't take me there and typing name of dish you gave into search field isn't working either.vThree attempts yesterday, four today. I couldn't even find your dish to see what it was, decide whether or not to vote for it.

Zimmeh 05-27-2016 04:35 PM

I have found that my priorities in life has changed since I turned 40, over two years ago. I don't take anyone's crap and I like living a quiet life. Looking forward to meeting other people who think like me.

Have a good night,

Zimmeh

Hello Lofters. I Hope everyone is having a great day for the 4th of July.
I stayed home to just chill out. I will be watching fireworks from home on my tv. I hate crowds. Besides, its much quieter for someone that copes with ptsd.

OS Butch 07-07-2016 06:03 AM

Good morning!

Well, it has been a very long time since I popped in here. Just thought I would say hi and see how everyone is doing.
Next week I will be on my trek to Texas. I'll wave as I drive by!

Mel C. 07-08-2016 11:29 AM

It's good to see some activity in here. I thought the loft was a place to nap.

In case anyone is near the Nashville area, a friend and I will be in Nashville October 6th - 10th, 2016. PM me or message here if you want to meet up!

Rockinonahigh 07-08-2016 06:56 PM

Lasts week I got my mobile scooter so I have been learning how to get around the house with it but there are a place or two I still bump walls and door frames I have problems with. My pups wanted a ride on it so we went for a ride around the house they enjoyed it. No trips out yet as James is still building the ramp. We got a carrier so I can go places but I am not to sure about the ramp yet to load the scooter on....one problem at the time grasshopper.

Gayandgray 08-26-2016 08:07 PM

Anybody around?

homoe 08-26-2016 08:12 PM

Ya, I'm here just sitting around and collecting dust!

Lyte 08-26-2016 08:27 PM

Just found a cozy spot out on porch... chillin.

Mel C. 08-26-2016 10:42 PM

I'm dusty too

dykeumentary 08-26-2016 10:49 PM

I just did a group singalong to Bruce Springsteen at the tavern down the street. Am I old??

FireSignFemme 08-27-2016 02:14 AM

Don't move, don't move... listening, listening... Yep I hear some creaking going on. But it might help you feel better to know - I had to put hearing aides in to amplify sound in order to notice it :)

Gayandgray 09-03-2016 08:13 AM

Good morning all!!

Glenn 10-09-2016 07:23 AM

Good Mornin back to you sis and all from Indy.

I just bought a high tech hearing aid from Germany that immediately shoots me back to a high alert, evolutionary platform of prehistoric existence. It makes the birds sound like pterodactyls, my cats roar like lions and tigers, my car sound like I'm in the Indy 500, and all my body sounds make me feel like I'm a caveman. :|

good day, one could also argue that a land with people was not discovered it was already inhabited.
enjoy your day

Lyte 10-10-2016 02:19 PM

One could. However, it was still a "discovery" for the Europeans.

Lyte 10-10-2016 02:24 PM

Thanks! I will check out those links.

The History Channel show has quite good, detailed, didn't candy-coat any of his behavior. I knew CC was a religious fanatic but didn't know he was a tyranny as well. It's been a few years since I heard anything about the subject. It's truly fascinating how history evolves.

Brings me right back to my senior year art class, with the radio playing on the window sill...yes, I guess we are old. : )
