The dr's released him the following morning and they put a heart monitor on him and he has to go to the dr's once a week for checkups. They don't know what caused his heart and oxygen issues, so until they do, he has the heart monitor. If it happens again, they are going to do open heart surgery on him.

I am doing good, just keeping busy with class and no one showed up on Sunday, so I came home and got my Avon brochures completed, so I could deliver them today.

Dinner sounds good, after class, I went to my mom's house and had homemade beef stew and just had a few cookies with a cup of coffee as dessert.

Hope you are having a good night and any news on when you all get to move into your new house?

Hugs and have a good night,

Zimmy

Glad to hear the little one is home...and hope that it turns out well. The thought of a baby with a heart problem is just too much. :praying:

Sorry I've been AWOL folks...it's been an incredibly busy week...trying to catch up at work, the usual house/kids/meal stuff and then a massive pile of paperwork and errands to get everything squared away for the house. We're almost there...they taunted us with talk of a closing this Friday, then ordered a survey...not cuz there was a problem but just because the one in the file was old (sigh)... I just keep telling myself soon, soon, soon, soon...

Hope everyone is doing well, studying hard, healing nicely, and playing happily with the other folks in your sandbox. :)

I missed breakfast, so lunch is club sandwiches on toast, fresh fruit salad and ice tea. :eating:

Hugs! :gimmehug:

Awwww, now that's just lame! Survey should have been an underwriting condition, not documents! Hope they get it straightened out!

Zimmeh 10-13-2010 04:53 PM

Good Evening Everyone,

I agree with DC, that survey should have been done when the house went up for sale. They are having fun with you and the family, Jo Jo.

I have been studying like a fool, my anatomy lab final is at 12:30p tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. Then I get to write a paper for microbiology.

Have a good night all and I am leaving a huge pot of coffee on the stove~!

Hi Zimmy,

Wow.. you are looking forward to the final???? Well that is a good thing, that means you are prepared and feeling positive. I will send :praying: your way.. knowing that you will pass anyhow. smiles.

Coffee sounds awesome right now. The weather is changing rapidly here.. in the last few days the temps have dropped considerably and I have had to turn the furnace on. Definite coffee weather, not that I need an excuse. grins.

I hope you have a peaceful rest of the evening. and good luck tomorrow.

As Always,
Jake

Good morning kitchen dwellers :)

:bringcoffee: Coffee and blueberry pancakes all around :chef2:

It's still in the 80s here Jake, but I hear what you're saying about coffee weather! I always loved the leaves changing, but dreaded the coming snow shoveling.

Best of luck on your final Zimmy - I know you'll do great! :rrose:

And you are not kidding darkcrystal...I was all grrrrrrrrr'ed about the paperwork shuffle. The good news is that we're getting closer every day. I paid the insurance and sent the binder off, and that was the last thing on my list to accomplish before closing. Now all I need is a date and time! :)

Hope you all have a great day. I'm working hard, trying to get caught up. Between my busy season at work and trying to get this house closed I spend a lot of time looking like this

Hugs! :gimmehug: and :lips: for my baby...

now that you're in the south your autumn pleasures need not be tainted with snow-dread!!! although for us at least, summer hangs around poking its head back in every couple of weeks until well after Christmas

Good Evening Jo,

Well of COURSE it is still in the 80's there.. laughs. I have to say I love the rain... however, I have had My fill now.. and it needs to move on. We have received snow here before on Halloween (as you know).. so I would not be surprised if we did not get atleast some rain/snow mixed with how it feels outside. I have to say I would miss the snow.. I love to watch it fall... but yes.. the shoveling and driving in it.. does grow old. Atleast you will not have to deal with that this season.. smiles.

I am sending good vibes.. that the house get closed and quickly.. this process for you all just never seems to end.. and just when you think you are "there"... it does not happen.. that has to be frustration 10-fold.

I hope you and scoote and the kids.. have a peaceful evening.. and keep finding the little things.. it does help deal with all the rest.

As Always,
Jake

Hi to My fellow Kitchen dwellers, how is everyone? I'm so very sorry I haven't been around lately, but I started a new job yesterday and I've just been trying to get used to being up early in the morning (try 6:30am). I'm very excited because I get My very first T shot tomorrow :cheesy:

I'm nervous I admit it, but I'm also very excited at the same time. My work is extremely open, cuz I told My trainer about My transition and she said that I'm safe to work there ~ if anyone even tries anything that discriminates against Me, they will be fired on the spot. Its a very diverse group of people and it doesn't matter what your race/religion/gender/sexual orientation etc is, all they care about is that you do your job. I already get along with people there, so I know that I'm very much going to like it there :)

Hope everyone has a great Friday tomorrow ~ I know I will *yay*

Good Morning everyone,

It is a gorgeous day here in Florida!!! I still haven't received my grade for my anatomy lab final...The whole class is on pins and needles waiting on them. I do miss the snow from when I lived up in Michigan and Pennsylvania as a teenager...

I am thinking of a nice brain food style brunch today with plenty of coffee, tea, juice, milk, sodas and mimosa's<virgin style> today.

Jake,

Hope Ms. MountainStar is doing much better and she can still go on her cruise!

Jo Jo,

Have you heard anymore about when the bank is going to do the inspection of your new house?

Hugs to all and have fun today..Be back later!

Zimmy

Well, good afternoon folks, it's been a while since I took tea with y'all. :tea:

I hope everyone is having (or is about to have) a wonderful Sunday. Having had an ample sufficiency of brunch and tea it's time for some unicycle practice on the 24" wheel before tootling off to meet friends for coffee in town.

*leaves fresh tea and coffee*

Zimmeh 10-17-2010 11:10 AM

My grade is up for my lab final. It says I got a 71%, but I got 142pts for the points part of it. So I am confused and I emailed him to ask if I got a C or if I got an A.

I am sitting here beside myself and hoping all of that studying I have been doing paid off and I got an A.

Ice cream for all of us!!

Zimmy

For all of the taffy lovers in the world, you all should try this!

http://smokymountaincandymakers.com/taffy.html

It is homemade taffy from the Great Smokey Mountains of TN..

I bought some several years ago when I was on vacation..

katsarecool 10-17-2010 07:08 PM

I am wandering in here in desperate need of a nice cup of coffee; very hot in a huge cup with hazelnut creamer thankyou very much... how is everyone doing tonight?

MountainStar 10-18-2010 06:04 AM

Good morning everyone! I have missed so much in the past three weeks, and will catch up reading everything later today and tomorrow....

So....I've been gone - to the hospital. Had to have an emergency knee operation and spent three weeks in there. I got home on Thursday afternoon and have spent the past few days just getting used to being home and working on regaining my strength.

I missed everyone in here very much...especially Mr. Prickly...but I am happy to be here now and on the mend.

Hugs to everyone and hope you have a great day today!
