I love flowers; seeing them growing in the ground or in pots. It breaks my heart to see them slowly dying in a vase, sooo, K made me two paper Roses (I'll post pics in the Crafters Unite thread as they were hand made :))

today hasn't really been exciting...i slept for a few hours ...but YESTERDAY was pretty amazing.....i finally got the call for a drs appt ive been waiting on for the last 9 months....so that was pretty exciting.....there were shopping missions ...and lots of snuggles ....i got to watch my dear ones make cards ....

I was jumping for joy this morning at 6:30am when I went over to The Hangout Music Festival's website to check out the line up this year. OH YEAH!!!!!
Get to see Flogging Molly this year after all.....and on the beach! Hells yeah. Plus a bunch of other good players. Was thinking the lineup was going to be lame form what folks were speculating, but it ended up bringing me MUCH JOY!!!!!! |
I spent about 3 hours loading 300+ family photos that I have taken over the years onto a digital photo frame my sister gave to my parents. After dinner we just watched it and reminisced (at least until the UConn Huskies--womens basketball-- game came on.) It was really nice. They keep telling me how much they love it.

Our long end of the day chat. That we touched on the present and future. That no matter the when and where the opening to possibilities abounds. Faith seemed simple and mysterious at the same time. And while I usually want the answers I feel too content to dissect it at all. There is always more.

I finally got my house in Iowa sold!!! It only took 14 months. :seeingstars: I will get a nice check at closing and starting next month, I will only have 1 house payment. WoooooHoooo.

Was snowed in last night but all was not lost, ordered Chinese food and watched the Pit Bulls and Parolee's marathon :D It was fun!

I helped clear out my sister's stuff from the parent's garage this afternoon. Going through boxes, pictures, poofy prom dresses!!! We came across her cassette tape collection then commenced singing, laughing, reminiscing. Of course dad and I did all the heavy lifting as my sister has an aversion to most forms of physical activity. Even so, it was a great afternoon :)
