Going to Epcot with my roommates and laughing so hard, that I snorted! Only spending $40 at Epcot and looking forward to tomorrow :) Dinner and shopping with my roommates!

Everything; being home with my 'boy' and my dog, giving my dog a bath, making a fabulous tomato sauce, having a wonderful dinner, the quiet and peace at home, working a little on a grant (but wasn't stressing it), feeling grateful for all the happiness in my life and not taking on stuff that isn't mine.

We had a very good turnout at our 6:00 Women's Recovery meeting tonight. Several new ladies came - not new to recovery but new to the area. Some meetings are more serious than others but tonight was mostly a good time - lots of laughter.

An old friend from university is staying with me for a few days, and we just got back from Montana's for AYCE ribs. He has a food-baby, I have a food-baby, and we're both pecking away at our computers in companionable silence. I'm grateful for his friendship.

Waking up to this day and feeling really optimistic about it and some really trying things I've been dealing with. Thanking God for the hope and joy He gives me.

Today I found out something that I have been trying my dangdest to figure out . Although that answer sucks and hurt to find out however at the same time it has brought me joy to know my answer because it is now relieving closure to me . Deception sucks but closure and answers are joyous to get :)

I get to go to a play tonite. I am all excited. I have NO idea what it is about, but it was free ticket.
I saw a flyer for the Ballet in town performing with Taiko drummers. Now that I have to see. I have never been to the Ballet, but oohhhh those drummers give me the finest of all feelings... |
a client who stayed home today because her feet hurt so bad.
she came to see me she left feeling SO much better !!! another client who was 88 and a butch i am sure of it, was unsure of Reflexology, by the time she left she was blowing me kisses on the way out !!! |

Another Spring like day and seeing Spring flowers and a Heron as I walked back from the Post Office. :) There was a couple of Birdwatchers watching the Heron and pointing it out to passers by. :)

I knew 2012 was going to be the good year!
I went to my eye surgeons today. I was suppose to have surgery on my left eye as my retina was tearing again, or so the Dr thought.They had been filled with a vaseline like substance and I couldnt see well out of them, and the glass plate they put over my eyes to work on them (with a hole in the middle, like a lifesaver)made them hurt, along with putting pressure on the eye itself. BUT, the important thing is, NO SURGERY! JOY JOY JOY JOY!!!:hangloose: |

one solid hour of my pup wagging, mushing, kissing and, yes, smiling because i returned home after a long weekend out-of-town. she then finally settled down cuddling next to me and is sleeping all cozy-like.

while I was at dinner, I missed a call.... just checked voicemail ....THEY CALLED ME FOR THE INTERVIEW THAT I'VE WAITED FOR NEARLY A YEAR FOR and faced many frustrations with the app process and their reposting job several times. .... I know a certain person that will not be happy with me getting a job where I get to mandate how she does her's... she can eat crow!! HAPPY DANCE!!! ..... as a friend says "I GOT THIS!!"
Also... they offer much better benefits! !! It's about time my hard work pays off! |
