Good Evening Jake,

On Monday we got to dissect a calf heart and I was the first one to stick my fingers in it to find out where to start cutting it. Ended up, that my professor had to do it, the supplier had mushed the hearts so bad, that even he couldn't figure it out. But he was suprised when I started naming off all four of the valves in the heart and all of the blood vessels without him quizzing me..Woohoo...I am so looking forward to this lab midterm.

There is a cool breeze blowing right now, so it is kind of chilly outside, but it feels wonderful. The summers here can be horrible and I don't look forward to them..

Have a good night and how is Ms. MStar doing?

Thank you for the hot cocoa and tea. I am drinking iced tea at the moment. However, I am seeing some french pressed coffee in My future. It was actually nice here today considering the time of year. The sun was finally out and there was a slight breeze. But once that sun sets, the temps drop considerably. So coffee it is. Nods, I was in Florida for a year and a year was enough. Entirely too hot for Me. I like the change of seasons, even if the change is slight. I would not want to live in a climate that is constant hot or cold.

Well, I am glad you are feeling confident about the class. Confidence, is key. If you walk in there with the mindset that you will do well.. then you will. Just keep those positive thoughts flowing. Although I have to say I would not be one for dissecting a calf's heart.. cringes. So, kudos to you for being able to do it.

Good luck on getting help with your rent. I am sure there are plenty of resources where you are. Remember we are all here for you and I am sending you good vibes and lighting a candle as well.

Big Hugs.

As Always,
Jake

That is my kind of breakfast! Now all I need is an urn of coffee to stick a straw in.

Have a good day!

Amen to that! Holy cow that looks yummy morningstar! :eating:

Welcome to the thread Kobi :rrose: and good morning all :)

I have a crazy busy day at work (aka on my computer in the bay window at the front of the great room lol)....but I'm catching up, so that always feels good. I go to AZ for a few days next week and they've already got me scheduled with back-to-back meetings (plus lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant for the best blue corn and chicken enchiladas on the planet). I love my company!

Have a great day everyone :gimmehug: ....and :lips: to my baby... :love1:

Zimmy, best of luck on the quizzes, I know you'll give it your best shot. :fastdraq:

Good luck on your business trip! I loved it when I went to Chicago for job training...The skyline was gorgeous at night and we all went to Gino's East Pizzeria for dinner the first time and the Reagle Beagle the second time plus a visit to Navy Pier.

Have fun this weekend!

I just moved to Chicago recently, and the skyline has yet to not amaze me when I see it lit up at night! It's just so gorgeous! Gino's IS yummmy! Good to know you enjoyed your visit! :)

Good morning everyone :) and welcome to the thread KatieStar :rrose:

:bringcoffee: The coffee is on, and I confess I already raided the cookie jar :giggle: I made a batch (well, a double batch...we have 2 teenage boys) of chocolate chip cookies last night, and they were calling my name! I showed restraint though and only had two.

Everyone in the house has decided to sleep in today....so only the new kitten and I are awake. The dog said good morning as he went past me to the doggy door, but then headed straight back to Rooster's room, hopped in bed, scooted under the covers, and that was that. :) We found this great critter door that is like a narrow panel of sliding glass door with a spring-loaded top. You just open the sliding glass door, put it in, and close the door. Very nice, and the furkids can let themselves in and out to the back yard.

Not sure what the day holds for me....just enjoying that first cup of coffee....ahhhhhhh.

have a great day everyone.

Good morning :)

:bringcoffee: Coffee pot is on...not sure about breakfast...I may be doing the cheerios thing myself. Sunday is a work day for Scoote, the Prince sleeps until noon, Rooster has been up since 7 (but somehow I've managed to raise a child who never wants to go out to eat breakfast)....sigh.

Today's agenda is grocery shopping, laundry (already underway), and riding herd on teenage boys doing housework (I'm cruel enough to require an hour a week in addition to their rooms). For fun? I might head down to the garden center to see what's on sale....

Hope you all have a fun day! :)

Good Morning Jo Jo,

Today is Elijah's 2nd birthday, so Lisa is throwing him a party and I am going to need some mimosas after it, hehe.

Have fun at the Garden Center~! I will be studying for my anatomy lab midterm which is tomorrow and taking my microbiology quiz later this afternoon. Then, I am going to to power walking until my legs hurt...

Have fun!

Good Morning Zimmy,

I am sorry however, no matter how you say it.. it is STILL not something I would like to try. I shall leave it to the experts or those such as yourself learning to be experts. laughs.

It is definately getting to be wintry weather here. We usually have some type of overcast now.. last night it was rain.. with a little snow mix.. soon it will be just SNOW.. laughs.. I am looking forward to it. The hardening of the ground... so that Spring can come and start everything fresh again. smiles.

As for MStar, I would guess you could pose the question to her. We are no longer seeing each other. Tis all for the best and everything happens for a reason, yes?

I hope you have a peaceful Tuesday and do not study too hard.

As Always
Jake

Good Morning Jake,

I should knobby tonight what my grade will be for the lab midterm I took yesterday, but mist students feel like they failed. I am still hoping for an A, and shooting for a C. I miss seeing snow, and the leaves changing colors. I'm thinking of moving back to Boston one day.

Hugs and have fun today!
