MStar,

Good to read that you are doing ok!!! I to have been looking for a job, but with 16 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree, no one will hire me here in Florida...

I cannot wait until I can move away and find a good job..

Have a good night,

Zimmy

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I took my anatomy midterm yesterday and I ended up getting a grade of 70 on it. The professor knows that students have a copy of his lecture notes, so he is going to make it even harder on us to pass the class.

I am thinking of eggs, toast, bacon, panckakes, coffee, tea, juice, milk and sodas are in order for breakfast.

Have a good day!

Zimmy

Good Morning Zimmy,

Well on the bright side.. is that you passed.. smiles. It also makes sense that the Prof would make the test harder given the note situation. My sister used to be so down on herself if she got a C in anything. Finally, I said to her.. you know.. there is no perfection... you may think in your mind that there is.. and that everything has to be an A and a 4.0.. .however, it just does not. Now I am not saying.. it should not bother you (or her).. and yes it does lower the GPA and one should not get a 70 in everything... but I always looked at it as I said.. atleast I passed.. and I know what to expect the next time when it comes to the testing process. BTW.. I am a horrible test taker.. so that was always My biggest fear with school and college. I always happy to see anything with a 7 in front of it for a grade. laughs.

Thank you for the wonderful breakfast.. Here is some extra strong :bringcoffee: and :tea: to get us through the day.

So any fun plans for the weekend?

As Always,
Jake

good morning everyone...dropping by to see how everyone is doing..Zimmy i agree with Jake--at least you passed--and im assuming you did your best so thats what really matters..Jo and I tell the boys if a C is THE best you can do so be it,but if you are getting a C bc you arent doing the work then we have an issue......just keep giving it your all :goodluck:

soooooooo i just got home a lil bit ago from picking up the other kitten--i mean you gotta have 2 so they can have someone their age to play right?? lol she is pure white-has a few fleas(white shows everything) and is prolly wondering what the hell is going on...the mini daschund is trying to clean her and protect her from the rowdy kitty Grayson...Banshee the yellow cat is trying to figure her out and the black one--the princess of the house looked at me like "if i could whoop ur ass i would" and huffed out the pet door...lol..she is NOT happy that another kitten has come to live with us--plus the fact she is a female as well.....ooooh lordy it could get ugly up in here...so glad my sweetie will be home tomorrow..

anyway i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Good Afternoon My friend,

I agree... you always have to have 2.. so the other has a playmate and does not get lonely... I have been talking about getting some felines in the house for months now.. as I have always had atleast one if not two.. now your story.. just made Me peruse the Humane Society website.. again.. laughs.

But of course the cat you already had is all huffy... someone new has invaded their space.. My Mom has a siamese that is exactly the same.. there is NO way another cat could come into that house.. and Kashmir would leave it be.

It sounds like you have your hands full.. :seeingstars:... and yeah for Jo getting home tomorrow..

ps. However, I think you did a great job all the way around holding down the fort.

Zimmeh 11-19-2010 12:15 PM

Good Afternoon Scoote and Jake,

I studied my ass off and I am glad to have my C. I found out when class started about the other kids having the professor's notes and I told them that having those notes in their possession was a bad thing. I also told them that if they had been at DeVry and been caught with them, that they would have been kicked out of DeVry for a code of conduct violation. For the endocrine section of the lecture outlines, I have 21 pages of typed notes.

Scoote, the new kitty sounds cute....

Hope you two are having fun today!

Heya Jake,

When I got home yesterday afternoon, I made a pot of coffee, went into the office and played the Sims2 on my laptop until 10p lastnight, lol. I am going to take today off from school and maybe play the Sims some more and then start working on my paper for microbiology tomorrow.

How about you? Do you have any plans for this weekend?

welll thank you Jake and Zimmy...i did manage pretty good...both kids are alive and well fed...all animals accounted for--even Ms Priss who just sits at patio door glaring at me then the kittens...lol...extra love for her tonight i reckon.

Ms Gracie has settled in quickly..and let the others know she isnt a push over..as even learned that going near the tv and game systems is a big no no..

Jake..i think you should get you a cat or two...well kittens preferably...they are so much fun when they are that small---and humane society is a good place to get them..if im not mistaken JO got her cats from there

well this mean ass kitten is insisting i allow her to bite my hands so i better go bond..lol

Zimmeh 11-19-2010 06:41 PM

I have something that might make you all giggle...

Have any of you heard about the guy in Wisconsin that shot his TV over Bristol Palin being on DWTS?

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUST...?asid=26ada452

This had me laughing so hard, I almost wrecked my car on I-95 heading to school..

Enjoy!
