It's now 44 degrees. It rained last night but has stopped now. Overcast with 90% chance of more rain. It is supposed to get down to 33, with a high of 47.

Wind chill 20s right now ... ice storm and mix of snow/sleet supposed to start this afternoon/evening through tomorrow evening - and maybe into Tuesday.
Our local weather people are predicting power outages due to the ice accumulation/weight on the lines. One of my dogs, Kelly, is making me nuts ... begging to go for a walk. She is insistent and will not give up. It will be a 30 minute walk or less. The other one, Kevin, went out, peed, then hurried inside ... he went back to bed. Good dog! :) LOL! Looking up at afixer's post stating windchill = 5 degrees ... damn ... thinking we got it good here. :) |

it looks like we will get snow down to the 200 ft level
(I am at the 500 ft level) yesterday it was very foggy here and the air was so very cold! Right now, it's about 33 degrees outside low tonight of 27 degrees |
Depending on what weather site you visit or TV channel you watch they are calling for everything from heavy snow...that's 4-6 inches here LOL....to starting as snow ending as ice....so someone will get it right.
I like the last site I looked at said 5.8 inches of snow and .01 of ice....so I'll go with that one. It was 17 this morning suppose to get up to 38 some time today. Low tonight 25...high tomorrow 32 so whatever it does it won't thaw out Monday or Tuesday. |

We live in South Texas and had part of that storm come through last night that you are all experiencing today. We had high winds, some hail, and lots of rain. Just north of here, the wind took down power lines, trees and shredded some mobile homes. Its passed on through now, and we are back into the low 60s. I'm such a wimp after living here for almost 4 years that I now feel like 60s is cold and I hear myself whining about how chilled I am.

It snowed hear about 3:00pm for nearly an hour,big fat flakes,the snow covered as much as it could stick to before it go to cold and it didnt melt on the wet grass.My son was off with the car so when he got home it looked like it came in for nyc,I measures 2 1/2 inches of snow on the roof of the car..more to come later I hear.My boss called and said we were haveing a snow day and would be colsed,fine for me. I will stay snuggled in the bed with my furkids.

We have around 5" of snow so far and it's not over yet. They just closed I-30 from Little Rock to Dallas, and I've been on the phone all evening with my medical staff updating our plan for staffing three of our clinics tomorrow! Yes, some places never close, and some of us still have to work in this mess! :D <--- not

Heavy wet snow and 25 degrees.....over 900 schools and businesses closed in Charlotte and surrounding areas so far. Oh and no my company isn't closed, however I am out of order today :byebye:

Snow on the ground still have the blizzard we had two weeks ago and now snow again tomorrow night it doesn't end I tell ya and I still have to shovel out the driveway before more snow comes in here tomorrow..ugh and its cold to boot too..what a carzy winter.

WOW just saw on the weather channel some places in GA have 1/2 inch of non snow. Hope the power stays on for you all and if not hope you have a back up plan for staying warm.

We got 30cm (12 inches) of snow over the weekend. Crazy streets everywhere, with a good showing of ice under the new snow. It is -27C (-16F) here with a snappy wind chill. I did not go anywhere this weekend, but I was able to get out of the alley and to work this morning. I helped push someone when I was out starting my car, and promptly went to my house and changed Traffic was painfully slow, but hey I did not get stuck. :byebye:

Burrrrrrrrrr,to cold for my southern fried a$$,in the morning it's suposed to be 19 with the wind chill in the single didgits,the high may be near 40 so I hear.Sofar my work place is suposed to be open,u bet I will be wearing my camo artic suit to walk across the rather large parking lot wich is out in the middle of no where,at least I will be prepared for the weather.
