Kobi---Pasta salad is not for breakfast but for lunch. Although I will admit to having pasta salad as a breakfast food on occasion. The reason it is not a breakfast food in my scenario is a corn dog is "breakfast on a stick" so one may walk the beach, snarf a corn dog, and keep on moving to the next adventure with no down time or serving utensils required.

The entire challenge was aimed at possibly moving out of a normal routine in hopes a potential crush was to be discovered. Okay, okay. Since Girl_On_Fire and others had courage, here's just a small sampling of those I've found incredibly good looking/intriguing/achingly funny/a soft heart under gruffness/great conversationalist/intelligent, or a combination thereof...well, you get the idea.
And probably many others whom I haven't had the pleasure of an interaction with yet. I personally think Katniss didn't go far enough. We're Southern, by birth or transplant. She should have made a fried Twinkie requirement, or at least a fried turkey leg at the fair ;). |
i would say i have taken baby steps in saying so toward one but things always seem to interrupted my ability to really say what i feel. it will happen if it is meant.

Some thoughts on crushing and what can hold me back. Perhaps we all go through this. A crush is a wonderful gift. It touches the heart and can lift the spirit. It can also make me cry not sadness tears but tears of possibilities.
Differences different though we are i have a crush on from afar i can wish upon a star or even wonder how you are sometimes i think of you and imagine what we might do the unknown leaves me feeling blue but what i feel is so true i imagine you and say, "oh my" to touch you, i think i would die i wonder and think why yearning only makes me cry a thought today of you yes the feeling is really true the differences make me blue each day i think anew magic in my mind so free here i sit across the sea and wonder where i would rather be only difference do i see differences my mind can conceive my heart knows what i really believe my tears may fall like autumns leaves the difference true and my soul it grieves ponder this i truly do how much different i am from you |

Disclaimer and explanation...
Okay, seems my post is lacking a disclaimer and explanation. The guys I mention in my previous post are some of the great catches that are just regular guys, not movie stars, not super models, NOT Fabio (thank gawd), are just normal regular folks that any femme would be proud to call her Life Companion. Since 2007 when I joined the Butch/Femme Community I have had the pleasure of talking to several people here.
They have added to my life in ways that in some cases were life saving. Literally. Hir insisted that I see a doctor about my leg pain. My Doctor found blood clots in my left leg. Thank you Hir wherever you are, you are my hero. Musicman was very kind to me when I needed it most, out of the blue he encouraged me to take time to recover and to keep writing my stories. I am not going to pretend that I have not had my crushes. There have been a few. It's very hard for me to make a long distance relationship work, I have a hard enough time with someone in real time, lol. I'm used to being alone, I may not like it much, but it beats trying to be understood when all you have is a phone and a computer. Shero is very handsome, funny, but too young for me... but great fantasy material. Loves jazz, risk taker, and a gentle heart. American Butch is adorable, and has the sweetest smile ever.... incredibly funny, not a mean bone anywhere. Ironically, my exes first choice for his replacement upon Grim Reaper visit. CS is sweet Irish boy, plays guitar beautifully, very funny, and sexy.... loves homemade coconut candy. Has warm loving family also. Weather Boi is a music freak genius, and very sweet, He must know all kinds of fabulous stuff about the music world. Boots13 is very handsome, quite the ladies man (the kind that is respectful), and talented too,.... A real live Action Hero... and modest, imagine that Ladies Hellboi is deliciously funny, great manners, respectful, and a great story teller.... and the TWINKIE Master.... Rook shoots straight from the hip, honest, and very funny and bright..... Hir is truly a delight, good cook, appreciates the finer things in life like really good coffee, and a world traveler.... Everest123 is bright, funny, and a good sport, very kind and curly hair if I remember correctly.... Musicman is deep, intellectual, and wonderful writer.... gifted poet. DanteM is loyal, funny, very deep, respectful, and sweet, ... Only is one of a kind, funny, in love with SS, a great parent, and very kind.... a keeper. JoSmooze is calm, generous to a fault, and wonderful communicator, a heart of gold the size of Texas... BKisbutchenuff is an American Hero, battling the system to educate our collective children, reaching out to our communities, a protector of what's most important to many of us, the next generation... Okay, have spilled my jelly beans today, perhaps tomorrow I will continue.... I love you all in my kookie Blissfull way, ..... :rrose: Instead keeping secrets, maybe we should share them more often? |
