Good morning Jake,

I was trying to get my first cup of coffee from Panera Bread. I didn't go shopping this morning and I am glad.

How was your Thanksgiving?

Have fun,

Zimmy

I can not even believe I am up this early. I had a case of insomnia last night at did not even try to lay down until almost 3am and now I am wide awake.. at 8:10am?? :seeingstars:

laughs.. I did the same thing morningstar.. it was Toys R Us .. the one time that I tried that Black Friday thing.. and it was for the Tickle Me Elmo ...which I really wanted for My nephew.. that was the first and very last experience of Black Friday for Me.. I would rather sit back and grab the online deals.. because just about every online retailer does the sales as well..

As we can see our brave Jo went out there and saved some money... what did you get Jo? or is it a secret... like something for scoote? grins.. you can whisper to us .. if so.. laughs.

Today for Me.. is just going to be a quiet day of relaxation.. most likely a nap.. some reading.. . and wandering around the site... My poor sister has to work from 1-7pm.. thankfully not for a large retailer though..

Wonders where Zimmy is at... hummmmmsss...

To start our day... :tea: and :bringcoffee:

Waves to Jo, scoote, Zimmy, morning, kats, lipstix

Good Day everyone hope your Thanksgiving was a good one, there's a lot of turkey left over in my house and dressing and what not. I think that turkey sandwiches will be in order for tonight's dinner. yeah Jo what did you buy at the store?? Secrets huh?? I'm not going out there in this area NY/NJ metro area I would be nuts, maybe to the grocery store later on for some bread for sandwiches that's all...

I think that would be an investment beyond measure. smiles.

Good Afternoon Zimmy,

nods.. I agree with staying out of the craziness.. unless like I said.. there is a "real" deal out there to be had.. I would rather shop for the bargains online.

I had a wonderful Day of Gathering... everyone was happy... and the food was great... so all in all a stellar time... smiles. How was your's?

Ah I have eaten at Panera... never tried the coffee.. however, then again we all know by now I am kind of snobby about My coffee. laughs.

As Always,
Jake

Heya Jake,

I was walking around Target with a girl from my anatomy class and we were down the coffee pot aisle and she picked up a French Press. The guy who was stocking shelves asked her a question about the French Press. I started giggling and since she couldn't answer his question, I ended up answering it. The guy was pretty amazed that I knew anything about the French Press and the fact that it makes the coffee better than a percolator pot.

My Thanksgiving was good, after I ate dinner at 1pm, I didn't eat anything else. I had my group member laughing at me yesterday when i told her that i would have to roll myself into Panera Bread this morning. The coffee at Panera is ok, but my fave is still Starbucks. I heard that over in Orlando at a Target store, there was this woman threatening to beat up another lady bc she got the last tv that was on sale. I like ordering things online, you get to do research on the product before you buy it.

I am off to finish my homework,

Zimmy

Update on the soup its almost ready and thick with turkey meat and pasta will put a little cheese on it too oh no mixing meat with dairy but it sheep's milk cheese so I don't knowif that counts and the pumpkin bread is still baking but almost done its really brown on the outside, dog is crying so gotta run to let him outside and get myself some soup and noodles..[/U]

Hi you,

I KNEW there was a reason I liked you so much.. good for you on giving the salesperson an education on the french press benefits.. I actually got on of My brother's to convert to one.. although he works on the road alot (builds bridges) so he likes to have his coffee ready when he wakes up to take with him.. so he keeps his "timer" coffee pot around still. My Mom used to drink her's from a drip maker... but after her first cup was done.. she would switch to the french press. laughs.

Good to see you had a great dinner yesterday.. nods @ the rolling factor.. I swear.. after I ate yesterday.. it felt like I had that whole turkey all by itself inside of Me.

Yeah.. the whole fighting over something in a store? I went through that one time. ... I was shopping for My ex when I lived in Idaho... and there was this sweater I KNEW My ex would love.. so of course I had to have it. Well when I went to pick it up... this other woman reached out.. and I mean she came out of nowhere.. I did not even see her.. and was all over it.. saying she saw it first, etc. I let go of the sweater and said "Well if it means that much to you, here you go"... When I told My ex about it on Christmas morning.. she was more proud of the fact that I did not go ballistic on the woman. laughs.

Good Luck with your homework. Back to class on Monday, yes?

As Always,
Jake

Good Evening Everyone,

I am thinking it is a left over type of dinner tonight with all of the goodies left from yesterday.

I got Elijah to go up to Lisa and say, "Mommy, my butt stinkies", when he poohs. Hehe..

I am leaving a huge pot of Afternoon Tea on..

Zimmy

Good evening all :) ....and nice to see you Kat and MStar :rrose:

Dinner tonight was the first of the leftovers...creamed turkey with carrots and peas, and leftover rolls. I made scratch cloverleaf rolls (I love homemade bread)...and they dunk nicely in the creamed turkey. :eating:

I managed a short nap, but still think I'll be in bed early tonight....I've felt sleepy all day...must be the hourly wake up from 1 a.m. until 4:30...and then the early start shopping. Nothing an early bedtime won't cure :alarm:

Hope you're all having a lovely evening...and I'll see what I can do about some pancakes for breakfast! :winky:

Zimmeh 11-27-2010 06:37 AM

Good Morning Jake,

I'm a coffee snob as well. I found the only coffee that doesn't make me sick is Starbucks. I cannot drink Folgers or Maxwell House, something to do with how they process it.

Have fun and be back soon,

Zimmy

mawning kitchen dwellers

breakfast tacos anyone??

JustJo 11-27-2010 07:55 AM

:bringcoffee: Good morning everyone :)

As usual, the Rooster and I are up, the Prince and Scoote are still snoozing, and the kittens are rampaging around the place. It's amazing how much small kittens and a mini dog can sound like a herd of ponies on a laminate floor! :giggle:

Not sure what the day holds for us...Scoote has the day off work, but has a really painful, scratchy throat. I made her gargle with some warm salt water, and hope it will help. At this rate, all she'll be eating today is jello (I made her some strawberry :) ) and leftover pumpkin pie...anything soft.

So far I'm just waking up with coffee and some raisin toast, but those breakfast tacos sound like a pretty good idea :eating:

:gimmehug: Hugs to all...and hope you have a great day.

Zimmeh 11-27-2010 08:40 AM

Good Morning Everyone,

Jo Jo, hope Scoote gets to feeling better. I had yogurt, coffee and chocolate SoyMilk for breakfast this morning and I treated myself to some Godiva Dark chocolate Caramels that I bought at the grocery store this morning...Hehe..

I am thinking of some yummy pancakes this morning for breakfast? Breakfast tacos sound yummy, but they are a big no no on my diet...

Have fun and I will see you all in a bit,

Zimmy
