House sitting (wayyyyy way out in the boonies) for friends until tomorrow...this includes dog sitting for two huge mutts and cat sitting for 6 or 8 kitties...
Having a Star Trek Deep Space 9 marathon while I'm cuddled up with my little, old pup. Sitting here listening to the big dog go crazy at the deer in the woods/meadow behind us...praying he doesn't get out of the enclosed back yard on my last night's watch....he's monster sized and every inch of him is pitch black. I don't want the (distant) neighbors thinking we are having a remake of The Hound Of The Baskervilles. *looking for glow sticks in the kitchen junk drawer* |
Laying in bed, flipping channels waiting on pain meds to kick in.

eating Keebler Shortbread cookies while reading the forums ... took all 3 puppers out to potty about 15 minutes ago ... they went back to bed and are sleeping ... here I sit now wide awake double fisting cookies

Drinking iced coffee and relaxing before my double shift starts at 3pm. I loooooove having off all week but man the doubles on weekends can be brutal! 11-7 shift isn't bad at all, it's 3-11 shift that sucks.But I'm staying positive because I love all the time off to care for my spouse and the pay is more than I've ever made in my life.
