I bought another book, while I was out on errands this afternoon....

I got some stuff to cover a small dresser. It's ugly but the paper's pattern is pretty so I hope it works out. I also bought a pedicure, some groceries, birthday goodies, hygiene stuffs and cat food.

went to Lowes after work
bought a Bosch 4.5" wide and 17" long SDS-MAX clay spade bit ... actually it is a shovel I attach to this SDS-MAX Bosch rotary hammer drill I bought recently ... can use it sitting in a chair to dig 4x4 post holes as well as a trench to bury electrical wire inside pvc pipe for addition of more floodlights ... think i will point some into the surrounding woods ... being able to see what you are hearing in the woods at night will be a spook-reducer ... I received someone else's imagination as well as mine on the production line ... I tend to get more open-minded to the ridiculous at night ;) also bought: some metal and stainless still cutting wheels for my angle grinder Irwin 1/2 " spade bit ... think it is about 2' long several Dewalt heavy duty extra fine toothed short metal cutting blades for my demolition saw ... thinking about cutting a third portion of the bottom of a metal barrel off to make a rocket stove when I get time |

What did I Purchase Today......
Absolutely nothing. I live two hours from the nearest town. I make my own meals and coffee, I very rearely buy things online, l have everything I need and I'm not into retail therapy and if i need something it usually means I really need the item. I'm good, didn't buy a thing today!

I splurged on snacks for tomorrow, and in addition to the usual chips, etc., I got crab cakes, potstickers and coconut shrimp.

I got a couple of big-ticket item refunds, this week, so I'm going to invest those refunds by pre-paying the rent for my home before it is due in March.

Well, I didn't technically "buy" it today, but it "arrived" today.
I finally found the most amazing dress shirt, that was originally intended to be worn at graduation... now.. I can save it for my second graduation!! It is a gorgeous purple and white dress shirt with french cuffs! It took me forever to find, and it is definitely my shade of purple. I love it.... not graduation needs to come soon! |

A new battery for my car, and a brand new set of booster cables that guarantee that they will not snap in the -50 temps we currently have. Now what to do with my old set of brand new cables that went into pieces, in protest I'm sure, when I attempted to straighten them out to reach...

Yesterday we went over to Seattle and I found the perfect green shirt, See's chocolates, Carrot Cake for Mary's upcoming birthday, greeting cards, books, and two Five Guys hot-dogs for lunch!

The cutest white linen top. It has a big ruffle at the elbow, sorta bohemian style, it's also trimmed with a thin lace. Super cute and perfect for humid days.
And a great find at the thrift store!! I was looking for a side table next to my bed. Needs a little paint and a basket for the bottom shelf. Yay me! Strawberries, grape tomatoes, and asparagus, perfect spring harvest! Truffles for my fashion show models and a cute welcome mat. Ok, I took the xmas one off the front door. |
Nothing. I went to Stop & Shop but the employees are on strike and that didn't feel right.
