Picking up 13 yellow summer squashes from a co-worker. I'm going to can them for her. lol, my produce budget is running low so I will get my canning fix by canning for others. Long as I get my jars back I am happy to provide this garden overload public service.

Hopping onto the Mobia (like a Treadclimber) and doing a solid 15 minutes....when just a year ago 5 minutes felt almost impossible and left me feeling sick and light-headed. I was drenched in sweat, but my heart rate was back to normal in a minute....and I felt GREAT! :)

It feels fantastic to know how much my fitness level has improved and that it's all due to my eating better, and working out regularly at Curves for the last 6 months.

I'm proud of myself! :cheer:

I awoke with a lot of energy. Packed my grilling tools ,sauce and baby back ribs. I put on my swimming short and headed to the court yard and pool area.

I had to grill early the weather prediction for today is 103 or higher. I grilled the ribs while I enjoyed a sweet conversation with my honey and after I swam for an hour. It is hot here in the beautiful state of Texas, but I still like living in Austin Texas. Once at home I surf the web looking for a nice restaurant in my sweetie's area where I want to dine with her I found the perfect place. I am preparing for my trip.

My classroom lecture finally caught up with my syllabus today! So hard it is to stay on task when you stand in front of a classroom full of students and find that your ADHD doesn't lend well to meeting the deadline that you self-imposed! In my humble defense though, I warn my students on the first night of class that I am not an actual professor...I am just a nurse who is completely distracted by the stupid flourescent light that flickers at a seizure's meter over my head...Oh look! A butterfly! Now where was I? Oh yes, death and dying...

Recently I started playing an old clasical guitar I have,it's been a long time since I even picked it up,but today it sounded like it should have insted of twangs of the 5th demension...even the fur kids are staying in the room now.

Many things today. Even through some unusual events, a long trip and having to switch hotels because the first was a disaster ... many things brought me joy. And dinner was delightful with good company.

I waited 3 years for this... watching the meteor shower from my very peaceful, secluded second story deck... the clouds finally burned off so I had a stunning clear view (something you can't get in a city)... puppy on my belly, completely relaxed as I kept her ears warm... finding peace ...
enjoying something I've always wanted to..

Blade was right all these years, it was worth staying up all night for.

What brought me joy today....

so far.... Waking up and thinking how nice it was to have three great conversations last night within a two hour span: my mom, my son and my Spritz

and also.... Finishing up my son's laundry for him. I do so much for other kids these days it was a special treat to do for my own

Waking up in the mountains.

I'm tired from hiking all day yesterday and then staying up most of the night playing mini golf and Trivial Pursuit, but I couldn't be happier.

Love it here.

A week of vacation so I can rest and just breathe freely.
