Sorry Wolfy :( I will take full responsibility for this one. When I think about crushes some sweet songs come to mind. I promise I will not post anymore music in here. :)

I do that too, but when I do, I go to the what are you listening to thread just because I want to see who may have followed me over there.

The videos take time to load sometimes and if we have a lot of that here, those that don't like to wait may not want to stay, read and/or post.

I can only speak for myself when I say that I actually really enjoyed the song you posted here. It got me thinking about crushes again. I have to admit that while I do post in the listening to music thread, I rarely listen to other music there. But you are right ms sunshyne.. I'm blaming you for getting me to think about crushes! While I am not trying to negate your wishes Wolfy.. I just appreciated it and thought I would tell her so. It's your thread so definitely make the rules.

So what kind of video does one post if their crushing on Katy Perry? Just wondering given she's the queen of pop and all right now :)

Not everyone is good with words... sometimes it is hard to say just the right thing, at the right time. Have you ever had a feeling about something and heard a song and thought.. wow.. that really speaks to me.. it really describes what I am feeling?? I have. I also have no problems writing my feelings out on paper (although no one can read my writing) or on a screen.

I imagine some people are not great with spelling/grammar so might be afraid to write out their feelings. Spell check can take a long time depending on what you are writing.

I think a lot of songs have some special meaning for some folks as well. I also think that music is just another way for some folks to express themselves.

You will also get those that are much better at face to face communication and can't write a romantic word to save their life. I think we all handle situations differently.

I was raised by a father that told me if I can't say it, write it. Even if you never give it to a soul, keep writing and reading it until you are satisfied. He then told me once I felt better to crumble up the paper and throw it away. He was wise, got me to think and feel when I didn't want to.

I don't need a crush thread for videos and I'm sure if someone else wants that, they will put it up. I appreciate the idea and the thought but I can express myself in many ways.

I saw a few videos here and I think others would like it.

I think it's great that some can express themselves through song.
I do it myself from time to time.
So, I'll admit I put it there for me as well as others to enjoy.

I see **chuckling** Who knows...maybe someone here IS Katy Perry incognito...just sayin. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!
