Day whatever of feeling like doo-doo! Making myself get out of bed today and trying to get all of my school work caught up for this week.

Hopefully today there will be a fair amount of audiobooks, bath time, and cuddling with the best fuzzy nurse in the world.

Extremely frustrated, I am on the verge of giving in to the beast I keep trying to cage in. Let 5 o'clock hurry up so I can send her home.

I am feeling great, thanks for asking! :) The rain has stopped...at least for a few days anyway. I have a good life and great friends.

A little out of sorts.

I just had to jinx things and say it had stopped raining! haha It's pouring!

Like I had the best weekend ever! Included events such as: a night playing with friends in an arcade that was deserted except for us- we totally took it over and had much fun, a motorcycle ride to the county fair where I was volunteered to judge a children's cooking competition, witnessed a Shania Twain impersonator who was really good, I had my honey take my picture with a dude dressed up like Elvis- but he wasn't an Elvis impersonator so he didn't think my photo request was funny-- but we did it anyway (I'm smiling- he is not)- followed by a demolition derby- my first of such things- and it was surprisingly satisfying. Then a late night motorcycle ride home that was chilly but nice. Today was a trip out to the mountains and an accidental stumble on a cool new mom-and-pop restaurant that is a total do again.
Feeling satisfied and happy and like I'm sad the weekend is over!!!!!

Overwrought..

I came to work today to find a resident I liked a lot had passed in the night...now my other lady just passed.

I've been here almost 5 months and it amazes me the people who come out of the woodwork when death is near. Part of me just wants to scream at them. Why weren't you here when she was crying for you every night at bedtime...especially when you live in the same fucking town as the facility.

Far as I'm concerned my sympathies go solely to the departed. They were sweet, lovely ladies. I'm better off for having known them.

Band concert in town. Back to work tomorrow after three weeks out, and hardly even stressing it!
