Apologies to MsTinkerbelly and Penelope (my girlfriend, partner, et al), but this happened today. You come knocking today and you will find me in boxers and a sleeveless T. Not a pretty siight.

If Ms Tinkerbelly knocked on my door today, I'd invite her in for refreshments and ask if she'd like some ice cream or any other treats I might have on hand, then I'd ask her to come sit a spell out on my patio, where I'd inquire how her moving adventures have played out recently, we might even talk about her long time interests in marriage equality too....:rrose:

If Kosmo and Penelope stopped by today, I'd offer them cool refreshments and treats and find out about their lives and the little known things one might not know about, in the land of the Buckeyes. :rrose:

If Katzchen knocked on my door I'd quickly usher her in, pop up a HUGE batch of homemade popcorn, then sit her down to watch some fantastic movies she's never seen :movieguy:

If homoe came by to visit me today, I'd first find out how long she'd be in town for. Then I'd find out if she was hungry or thirsty and if so, I'd get her something to drink or even snack on. If she was in town for long, I'd splurge and ask if she'd escort us to a movie and afterwards go have an amazing supper at any place we could afford to eat (McMenamin's would be the place I'd suggest since there are several that are fun to visit, and are great places to get awesome food).

If Katzchen knocked on my door i would ask her to take me for a drive in that Bentley parked out in my driveway!

If Dee were to drop by my house today, I'd give her a tour of my very small home life, show her my wall of fame (cards and pictures of family and friends), tell her about interesting facts about each person, then take us out to the patio to visit with her puppy (I assume her puppy came by too) and we'd kick back and have a little chat about anything she wants to talk about.

Bonus: I know you like coffee, Dee.... so I would make you a cup of coffee like you've never had before. You'll love it, because I keep a private stash or two of decadent coffee to brew for visitors who like coffee. :)

Sweetest darling Dee, I have no exact method of knowing anything like that at all. EXCEPT.... :giggle: ..... I vote for lots of informational interviews, otherwise known as "Talk Dates." ;)

One can not possibly err on the wrong side of much if we take the time to hold space for learning as much as we possibly can.
