A co-worker bringing me some more wild huckleberry honey from his vacation in Colorado. I ran out a few months ago, can't believe he found it.

Receiving lots of support and suggestions from friends on my self-employment and grant funding questions. They all came through for me, especially one friend who called me while she was at work to tell me about exciting news and possibilities that I didn't know was available. It was exciting to hear there is hope for becoming an Art Therapist for Medicaid/Medicare Patients or opening an Art Therapy Office in the near future!! An amazing network of supportive friends made me smile!!
And Christie's post about her fancy new kitchen appliances made me smile! |

a baby squirrel teeter-tottering on the back deck railing made me smile earlier today...
a funny, sweet, half-groomed doggy made me smile when she was begging for treats... having fun and laughs in the kitchen with my Roomie while making dinner together (sharing one little counter to both prep food at the same time, leads to lots of coordination and laughs) my Willy Bear being an adorable companion while I worked from home today...him and his froggy made me smile! Positive thoughts and plans for the future made me smile... I'm counting my blessings that I had much to smile about today. |
My niece and I walked down to watch the Extreme Home Makeover Home Edition work on the Keefer home. It's coming along so fast. They have to finish it by Sunday.
It's so cool to just hang out there and watch them work and see it all being filmed for tv. And know that all of it is going to make life so much easier for Brian and his family. Amazing. |
Had a lovely evening with Glynn, Denise and Blue Vegan Daddy~O at The Oasis, which overlooks Lake Travis.....we were there for sunset.........glorious!

I went over to the Extreme Home Makeover project in my town again this evening. And a guy named Paulie came out and was talking with us and taking pics, signing autographs. I don't watch the show so I didn't know who he was, but he was incredibly nice to all of us. Awesome. And the people were loving it.
Oh........and the show's staff said that the neighbors of the Keefers were the friendliest and most cooperative of any makeover they've ever done. Yep.....I'm braggin' about it. :cheesy: I posted a pic of the project in the gallery. |
This is going to sound weird but.... my drive to work made me smile today. It's a beautiful day, had the windows down, the right music playing, very little traffic. I just kind of lost myself in it all this morning.

The absolute good-ness of my life.... I have a job that, though it does have it's headaches, I LOVE doing it, I have a rocking crew that are here to have a goodtime (and like me humming circus music, oddly), and work their asses off for me. Makes everyday a lot easier. I live in a beautiful place, on my way to work today I saw a bald eagle, and a flight (or fleet?) of pelicans. And at the end of my day I have an amazing girl, an amazing loving girl, and our future ahead. I am Buddha blessed, and smile ALOT!

Two things. An email. .. and thinking about all those NYC Pride attendees that lined the parade route.. the cheering.. the genuine happiness knowing the marriage bill passed.. it was better than a NY Yankee ticker tape parade. Marching - standing proud.

Waking up knowing I'm gay and proud to live in Mpls, MN. After the 35W Bridge collapse they rebuild a beautiful bridge to honor those whom were killed and injured. This weekend was lit to honor US... Happy Pride Everyone!

Eating right. Enjoying being in Walmart and buying varities of fruits granola. Enjoying my walk this morning with Simon and tonight.
Picking up on Thursday the title to my car its paid off. Being complimented on my baby blues Waking up healthy and knowing I will be a healthier me My Xs wedding in 3 wks. How close her her fiancee and I have become. Simon has two puppy teeth left I'm a proud Daddi. :) |
My sister looked sad so T jumped on her and gave her a bear hug. We all couldn't help but smile..well really crack up, it was great!
