What brought me joy today...
My weekly lunch date with my momma today, where she surprised me with an early birthday gift ~ cold, hard cash... just in time for this weekend! A mid week dinner date tonight with my boo... for no special reason at all. Marking another big ol' red X on the calendar ~ 2 days until the Reunion! |

Taking my Mom to the casino today. She won $75 on her first spin at the slots. :shocking:
I won $7.25. :blink: She said she liked it better when they used to make all the noise and spew all the coins out at ya. Who didn't? LOL The casino buffet was awesome!! :thumbsup: |

Kind of a yucky day all around. But, I had some good laughs and a few good kind of memory tears looking through some old photo albums. Remembering silly things I did with old friends and family and how I have a couple of those friends in my life today. I am a rather solitary person, so keeping in touch is important for me to do. Tonight I will give my BFF a call in Seattle. Haven't been ablt to travel this summer, so using the phone!

Spending some down time after work at The Little Feather shop down the street frommy office. Jeanne is a wonderful woman and the energy in her shop is amazing.

Finding the perfect place to stay in Kanab, UT for a few days at Christmas because we're taking my mom to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary for a volunteer vacation with the animals. YAY!!!!! It makes my heart happy to know I'll be at Best Friends will those happy fuzzy faces soon.
