Oh No! Janey, if you hear from her, please tell her she is in our thoughts and we send our condolences. We are on board with taking responsibility for a meal when she and her mom get here. Please keep me posted on any arrangements. Tell her love and hugs from us.

The plan right now is to bring her Mom back with her for a couple of weeks. I thought it might be helpful to her......so that she wouldn't have to worry about this, nor would her roomies be shouldered with it, either.

I'll keep You posted in any event....

Glynn

thank you Diva for letting us know.

course, not living in Austin myself, I wouldnt know how i could help with a meal. but, let me know if donations are needed for this.

Diva 06-27-2011 07:37 PM

Thanks, Ashton, Glynn & durretc. ;)

As I know more about arrangements, I'll keep Y'all posted. She did have a breath to post a little on FB....she might be feeling a little overwhelmed. The "business end" of death is a different type of overwhelmed, to be sure.

Meals will start when they get back, clearly. And will try to coordinate all of this before I leave in a week.

Durrrr...to address Your suggestion....Candace loves pizza! Maybe You could send her a Papa John's pizza (spicy Italian sausage & yellow banana peppers is a favorite of hers) and some Honey Chipotle wings from way over there....from a PJ's close to her, of course! ;)

Let me know what You think of that idea......

Yeah, I heard about your messages! LoL. You missed a beautiful night on the lake. Yes, and I hear you will be sleeping on the couch with durrrrrrrr. I do have 2 girls to share the bed with ya know! LoL. My baby Sweet Goldie and Babygirl puppy. And Babygirl puppy takes up lots of space so I hope it's a big bed!

That's so cute.

Since my darling D outranks all y'all, we'll just let him make that call. :D And I'm here to tell you Nayru outranks any canine in her general area. LOL Except Foolish. She's willing to let him be in charge.

Couch is still open. :)

Blush, what a great tool!

We will know more by Friday on whether this will even be needed. After speaking with Candace again, it's sorta up in the air on whether or not her Mom will come back with her. I'll keep You posted.

She's hanging in there....really exhausted. She appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers so much.

Just in case...
We're having our gay par-tay on Sunday the 3rd, not Monday the 4th.

You might be surprised if you came on Monday.
I hate when that happens, but my heart would be open if you did.

At least if you have a calendar, you knew that.
But did you know we'd be having a 4th of July party?

Yeah. Thought so.

All right, here's the official announcement and oh-so-important details.

Sunday, July 3
For maximum swim time, come on over starting at 2

Now some white font to be all patriotic and shit. :usa:

We'll grill and stuff so we can eat about 5-ish, that's up to the Beauhunk.
Oh, but don't worry about going hungry before or after dinner. For a change, we might have some food to nosh on.

Bring your drinks -- and speak up fast if you need a place to stay, ya lushes. One spot's already taken by that east Texas hoodlum and friend.

Any other out-of-towners wanna come?? Hmmm??? We gots room. And fun. The Beauhunk will make biscuits and gravy for breakfast, or watch Durr make them, which I hear might be entertaining (you think I'm up in time for breakfast?).

Oh yeah, will you let me/Oiler know if you're coming so the Oiley Beauhunk can count out the paper plates and silverware?

Did I tell you that the north Texas man and I will be there?

HEY AUSTIN
SAVE THE DATE
Sunday July 31 1-4pm

Roll up your sleeves.
Roll your socks down.
Find your poodle skirts.
Drag out those peddle-pushers.

Turn your calendars back to 1955 and join us for a fun fundraiser.

Austin has a tradition of giving to others as much as we give to ourselves. I thought it would be fun to do something for one of our own.

We are going to be raising money for books for some Austin students.

I'll have more details but start putting away your loose change but not your loose women.

We will have food and games all in the spirit of the 50's so get ready to get your Fonz on!

Puplove 06-28-2011 10:31 PM

I'll be there with Diva in tow. I'd like to bring something-how about a watermelon?

Looking forward to some patriotic partying!
