Reach *BANNED* 08-28-2022 09:49 AM

I might.. I just MIGHT do a little LEGO shopping! - I just finished the last one I had sitting around to build. Also, I realized this is the first time that I have not had something waiting in the wings to put together. I am not quite sure how that happened.

Reach *BANNED* 08-29-2022 08:02 AM

Well, I gave in and did it. I have a LEGO set that involves all things Christmas. I already have the Gingerbread House.. and I display it during the season. The other sets are - Santa's house, the Elf workshop, the Train station, and the Fire house. I decided to buy Santa's house. It will arrive this Wednesday!!

I had a feeling I would not be able to go long without having something to put together! The bottom line is, it is such a stress reliever for Me that I just have to have one on progress and most times one waiting in the wings to be built!

It's been ages since I had a full self-care day! I would have loved to join you. Too bad we're not still on the same coast.

Today, I was very, very good. So far.

A skirt that seems to be exactly the same as one I already have save for one thing - the label on one reads 95% spun polyester, the other just 90%. Nothing spendy and not for anything special anyway so we'll see. Now I need to go buy food because I can actually see big bare patches of glass in the refridgerator where at least some should be. Guess I've lazying out, digging into the canned goods and other ready fix a little too much lately.

Did you know you can freeze butter?

Yes, I had quite a stockpile in my apartment freezer, when I moved with Chris, gave most away....wahhhh...:(. We had FIVE adults trying to "share" a small fridge/freezer.....ugghh...glad that is NOT the case now. In fact, I have MY own fridge out in garage!!

nhplowboi 10-22-2022 09:19 AM

Actually last night......treated myself to dinner out at 99. I had a surf and turf.....steak and shrimp and it was delicious! Umm, ummm, ummmmmm!

UPDATE:

Ate choco chip infused cookie...equal to 5mg THC. I slept like a baby for first time in weeks. My knee pain was eased off some as well.

Gonna repeat tonight. Dr has me on "low dose" but can go up to 250MG a day!

BullDog 10-25-2022 05:55 PM

All Ordered Online Of Course!

A laptop bed table so I can more easily work from bed when I need and/or want to, dumbbells for doing arm exercises, a Golden State Warriors snapback hat, a royal blue hoodie, and a 6 pack of A-shirts.

I don't usually buy this many personal items for myself at one time, but I was on a real roll today!

Gemme 10-25-2022 08:54 PM

A quick stop at Wally World left me a little poorer tonight. I got cat food for Loki as there is an unfortunate 8 day window in between his auto delivery from Amazon and the empty container staring me in the face and that will not do at all. Of course, they didn't have the 3lb bag so I had to get a 7lb one.

I also got some craft goodies, cough syrup, juice, :ratio Keto friendly yogurt, bananas, blackberries and Cosmic Crisp apples. If you've never had these apples, they are better than Honeycrisp apples. I swear! In fact, they are a fusion between the Honeycrisp apple and the Enterprise apple. They are sweet, juicy, crisp and have a great shelf life.

I don't think I've ever seen them in the store! I have to get some, though, after this description. I love Honeycrisp apples! Maybe my bff in Indiana has an inside track.

* * *

Today I bought:

- gas, $2.95/gallon (I had a discount card)
- a chuck roast
- a loaf of bread
- a Pumpkin Pie DQ Blizzard

Look for this bag here. They are running between $6-7 per bag but there are usually 6-7 good sized apples in each bag and they are hard, which I love. Soft apples feel mealy to me. If you have a sweet tooth, they are sweeter than Honeycrisp apples.

I bought nothing new today but I did book an appointment.

GeorgiaMa'am 10-27-2022 09:34 PM

- I paid Brittany's adoption fee today!
- I bought a Popeye's Chicken meal - Brittany and I are going to have to practice going through drive-thrus. She was a little too excited.

Gemme 10-28-2022 10:06 PM

An effin tire because I ran over an effin nail and it imbedded itself in my sidewall, the effin thing.
