Ooh, I would definitely consider renting a small house in the summer for a week or so in New Hampshire. I've never been there but it's on my bucket list. Sounds like a great idea for you, too!

Sink drain strainers for the kitchen.

I found a new seed company that has spent decades, saving heirloom tomatoes! They even have fuzzy ones! I spent over $100 in seeds. What that means, is that I have to buy another grow station, more seedling, trays, more seed, starting soil, and then eventually about 40 new 5 gallon buckets or other things that I can plant them in. These are not the type of seeds and plants I will stick in the ground for the groundhogs and rabbits to mince on.

I also found a site that sells open boxes from big box stores. The savings are incredible! I bought a small hobby greenhouse last fall and it’s going to be put up in the spring. From this site, I was able to purchase a perfect size heater for the Screenhouse for one fifth the cost! I also got a leaf blower, a leaf chipper, a heater for my chicken waterer, a hoop house, and some miscellaneous office supplies that I needed to make myself more comfortable.

That’s it! I cannot buy another thing! Oh, wait… I bought some hair, jewelry and lace socks. Oh, and make up today too…..

Drain strainers? LOL What makes you think you're entitled to such a life of luxury! I know today I'm picking up cotton swabs. Woo-hoo! Seriously life's little luxuries, they sure do help though don't they?

I love Amazon. I even have Prime so I get the free shipping, which I use so much it easily pays for itself. I use Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods for groceries too, and I watch Prime Video quite a lot.

I haven't set foot in a Wal Mart in over a year. I think I went into a Dollar General once about six months ago when I was on a trip out of town. I do make an occasional grocery store trip, maybe once every two or three months.

Today I bought prescriptions and a Quarter Pounder with cheese.

Actually yesterday....a new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. At my age I figure it will be the last one I will have to spring for.
Today I'm thinking of heading to Planet Fitness and getting a membership because I'm getting kind of flabby. I was kind of a gym rat back in the day so hope this will motivate me toward a better summer look.

A kayak for my wife!! Sit in kind.....it's an "early" birthday present!!!

She LOVES to kayak...so now she can all she wants!!!

It is 7FT and lightweight, so she can haul it by herself, too!

Two Green Stalk planters. If you’ve never heard of this company you need to go check them out on Google. Pricey, but worth it. They’re stackable. All the other stackable units that I’ve seen do not have their own watering system and this one does. Really looking forward to growing lettuces and strawberries in them!

Plus eggs were on sale - half price! - so I got plenty of those.

omg! I bought myself a real greenhouse! Not the cheap hobby kind…. I bought one of those first and decided it was a waste of my money. So I turned around and bought a 10 x 12 wood and glass greenhouse, to match my new shed. It gets delivered over the weekend! I have wanted one all my life, and finally in my silver years, I’m able to get one. I struggled for so many many years, and I’ve been blessed in the last decade, and the struggles have subsided. I can’t wait to teach my grandchildren all about horticulture!

Is anyone else going through this - around here it's still pretty much for many things get while the getting is good or plan on doing without for awhile. What troubles me is as bad as things have been on account of COVID they're nowhere near as bad as they could be, have been many times throughout history. Or for that matter are right now in different parts of the world. I took so much for granted before COVID. I've certainly gotten spoiled.

7 plastic crates, flimsy but don't really need to be all that sturdy for organizing soup packets, dip mixes Top Ramen and stuff.

Book by Laurence King - The Big Poop Quiz: Toilet Trivia for All The Family
Example questions -
Do you know what bat poop has in common with fireworks?
Ever wondered what you call a person who studies poo?
How many gallons of poo can a blue whale produce in one go?

My grandson is going through that phase it seems a lot of boys do where making poo jokes and calling each other poo poo head names and sharing disgusting crap stories just seems to make life more worth living for them. So when I found these cards I thought well if we have to discuss this why not just make the best of it and try and put a more scientific spin on things.

I have once again upgraded my cell phone. Looking back at the above post, I can see that I did not get nearly four years out of my most recent phone (only 2 1/2.) I hope that I don't hate upgrading my phone as much as I did last time. I had to go to Verizon to get them to back it up, because the Verizon app did not work. It also took me weeks to get my settings back the way I wanted them. I'm hoping that because my new phone is also a Motorola, it will copy everything better.

Groceries. Damn it’s expensive!

Five bracelets from my adorable grandniece. She wants an iPad so I'm helping her out by buying some of her crafts. She's such a sweetie.

The last bracelet she made for me, as a thank you gift to me, was an LGBTQ+ rainbow bracelet with my name on it. I'm wearing it now.

Lucky me.

Four bags of bullshit. OK maybe it was cow but it was compost from the neighboring farm so I could pot some plants. Cost me $24 for 4 bags........now if I could only learn how to bag up the normal daily bullshit.
