While I agree that not telling is a lot safer.... it isn't always the most fun way to go. I won't always put it in the public forum (okay maybe I never do put it here lol) but I try to let the people who I crush on know about it. Sometimes it is returned and sometimes not. Most of my crushes are totally harmless and last for a short time but sometimes there is one that lingers for a long long while.

I agree. For me I keep it off the forums and will tell them in private.
