I had a wonderful day! I havent been so happy in a while.
So, I thought I had major repairs that needed to be done to my car several mechanics later... Totally 500-700 Dollars. I was lost wondering what to do. I dont have that kind of money just lying around ya know. Took car in this morning to a friend of a friend and its a 4.08 cent part! Woooo HOO!! He ordered the part from Chrysler and it will be here Monday and it will only cost me 45.00 to fix it! I am so ecstatic :) Ok also, Simon got to spend his day at the puppy spa and he looks cuter than ever.. :) I got a haircut and picked up my smell good today :) Oh, and I got a year supply of my contacts for only 50.00! |

Early release from work tonight! The best part? For a change it was early enough that I made the 10:45 train - I'll be home an hour earlier than usual!

Thinking about yesterday and last night. Today is our one year wedding anniversary, but yesterday, Pup had a grand day planned. We went for a couples massage, then a nice dinner, then home to the surprise of three small cakes, each one matching one of the tiers of our wedding cake a year ago.
Then we popped the cork on the bottle of Pink Label Veuve Clicquot that Pup's brother gave us for a wedding present that we have been saving for this occasion and spent a nice evening together reminiscing our wedding day, complete with watching the wedding video and looking at pictures. It was a fantastic first wedding anniversary. I'd marry her again ten times over if I could! Life is good! :) Glynn |
I'm going to get pancakes for breakfast, my babes has been up since 4 because of football excitement and he just got back from filling up my car and getting a Sunday paper.
I was told that there is 9 hours of football to be watched today, "SADLY" I have to work--Our Sundays together are over for the season. And finally, I hear him mocking me in the next room, "ohhhhhhh a MICHAEL'S AD! *SEX SOUNDS* MICHAEL'S! CAN'T WAIT TO GET OVER TO MICHAELLLLLLL'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *someone named john shaft has had WAY too much coffee. |

I got a lot of little jobs done & watched someof the 9/11 anniversary coverage before work Beautiful weather Running into a former co-worker who also works where I work now! A tasty (and messy) dinner A good day at work early release from work again! Despite room-mate stress I feel great and am happy |

A conversation that I had with a 6 year-old boy I had just met. Asking questions to gather information...
Me: I bet your favorite food is chicken nuggets with ranch dressing. Him: NO! (he then approaches me with his arms crossed and is staring at me shaking his head and we are eye level as I am sitting down in a kid's chair) Me: Oh my goodness. What is it then? Him: Chicken nuggets with sweet and sour barbecue sauce, you silly head! Me: Ohhhh! (slap my hand on my forehead) How did I not know that? Him: Because you are a nut. |
She came home from Indiana today and I can't wait to see her!

finding out that my previous students actually learned something last semester, and when their friends did not believe them... in turn my former student made them look it up... Rock on President Taft and the 7th inning stretch Having former students ask for recommendations the ability for a college professor to get free desk/exam copies of text books... yeah.. smiles today |
Watching a little open circle if small bits of white paper twirl around in circles within circles in the breeze. It was like a living mosaic -this single entity made of up 100s of little parts, dancing across the sidewalk.

Ivan thinks he's being slick and hiding from the world today, and that would probably be, but for his little left foot poking out from behind the vines on the back wall. The other giveaway on his position is the fact that he's almost directly under the ledge where Myra is sleeping. :giggle::awww::frog:
I've always said that, if you want to know where Ivan is, just find Myra and trace about a 3-4 inch radius around her, and that's where you'll find him. He's absolutely crazy about that girl!! :frog::heartbeat::frog: ~Theo~ :bouquet: |
