Just watched Deadfall - Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde (info) and The Other Woman - Natalie Portman (info). I would recommend both!

Watching "The Walking Dead" Season 2 epi. 8

Last week I watched "Would You Rather....." Since I play that game here, and I like, I thought I would check out the movie. Thank GOD I don't play the live version with the host of this movie :| Gruesome

I have watched "Lip Service" "The Misfits" "Orange Is The New Black" Too bad that, as far as I know "Lip Service" and "The Misfits" are done :( Waiting on season 2 of O.I.T.N.B

A couple of days ago I watched

Side Effects

Not my usual fare but it had several good twists. Enjoyed it, little slow for the first 30 mins, but good none the less.

Have been watching "The Walking Dead" now started "Cracked" only has one season. So far I enjoyed the first episode.

Last night I watched the humorous documentary "Kumare" which I think was recommended somewhere on this site a while back. That was how it landed in my queue and I'm glad it did, really funny and telling.

Tonight I'm going to watch another comedy (which is odd for me) called "Salt of life" Italian movie that looks light and fun.

The last ever episode of Misfits is being shown on 11 December (2013 Channel 4)

Lip Service I hope has been cancelled forever, it was utter crap

While checking Netflix to see if they had any decent holiday movies (they don't) I ran across this film description with the keyword "christmas" in it.

"On Christmas Eve in Los Angeles, a mortician falls for a single-mom stripper, and an ex-priest forges an unlikely bond with a transgender prostitute."

Happy Holidays

I love of course OITNB as well as I've been spoiled with full length UFC specials as well as WWE specials on my favorite wrestlers plus I've watched two of my favorite animated movies which is Ice Age: Continental Drift and the third movie in the Madagascar series Europe's Most Wanted :)

Not really movies, but i am hooked on almost anything from ID, like Who the Bleep & Stalked. Wish there were more episodes on Netflix.

My recent N/F instant stream selections....

"Oxymoron"

A Boston independent film.......Authentic southside.

"Plush"
A musician whose brother,as well as her musical partner, dies.
And she loses her desire for her art and her life.

Talon 02-10-2014 06:46 PM

"LOVELACE"

Based on the true story of the legendary adult film star Linda Lovelace,
a woman who was pressured into and abused by the porn industry, before she finally took control of her own life.

"THE ICEMAN"

Based on the true story of New Jerseyan Richard Kuklinsky, who killed over 100 people as a hit man for the Gambino family.

C0LLETTE 02-10-2014 08:23 PM

Luther, MI-5, Inspector Morse, The Bletchley Circle, Wallander,...all British series...and , of course "House of Cards" ..the original Brit version, so much more deliciously evil than its pale American copy.

Have you seen Endeavor? It's Morse as a young cop. I have only seen a couple of episodes, but they were god.

ProfPacker 02-10-2014 10:20 PM

House of Cards is coming on again on Feb. 14

Daktari 02-21-2014 07:16 AM

The things you watch when home alone and sick...

Lie to Me is quite watchable. Tim Roth is in the lead role. I've only seen two episodes but I like it.

Lakey Patterson Zero to 100 is a docu. about a young girl surfer

Fat, sick and nearly dead
Vegucated
Forks over knives
The three above were really interesting and look at the huge health benefits of a plant based diet.

Glad to find some QI on netflix, sad to see it's only 3 seasons.

Friday night I watched 127 hours with James Franco, based on a true story. I watched out of curiosity.
Saturday I watched "Pain & Gain" with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), based on a true story. I really liked it.
Also watched "Crank" which was pretty good.
And now I am watching "Cellular" with Kim Bassinger.

Lot of time for movie watching, since I have been feeling bad :(
(also watched Burlesque -- have the DVD and watched "Village of the Dammed" on classic movie tv)

ProfPacker 03-09-2014 10:54 AM

I like Kim Bassinet.

I'm a bit of a documentary geek. My favourite on Netflix so far was The Bridge. Obviously not my favourite for it's content but for it's concept. (May be triggery for some) Amazing documentary, just not if you're looking for something happy.

Have to second Daktari on Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead- thought it was very interesting.

I'm loving this thread, glad to be giving it a *bump*
