Sliding in in my socks.. Hello from Illinois
Hello everyone.. I am new to BFP. I live in South Central Illinois nearest to St Louis. I am 44 and a single mother of 2 adult children. There are so many thing to tell about me however I don't want this to sound like my dating profile.. I am so glad to have finally found a place where I feel I can be understood if I mention the Butch/Femme song and dance. Normally I get stared at like what the hell.. :) I sure hope to make lots of new friends. :)

hello everyone.. I have had a bit of fun looking around here and there.. I thought I had already posted my intro but I can't seem to find it it.. However if you do find it please feel free to let me know and I can delete one of them..
I am saddened to say it has taken me a while to find this site. I have been involved in a few in the past and now it seems all things must come to an end as they all have. Chat rooms closed, forums dismantled and communities dissolved. I can't wait to get to know this site much better wherein I will feel at home and not just the newbie :) Something about me.. guess it has been years! oh my... Anyways... Guess I took a hiatus from B/F relationships after not getting married to "the one" I was actually planning the wedding when I had a reality check! "don't marry a drunk" a little voice was re-running in my head. Anyway.. never met another butch since!

I am feminine and single, I live in Kent and I am looking to meet people near to me as I can't be doing with meeting people too far from home. I have two beautiful springer spaniels and it just makes it very difficult having to find sitters. I'm looking to meet fun minded people that don't take life too seriously as were only here once and we just don't know when our time is up! I like cooking and the odd drink, I do not smoke, (I did at one time) and don't want to meet someone that does. I have been smoke free for the past two years and i'm very proud of it. Hence the weight gain. I like a butch woman or a boyish looking woman and i'm def not into femmes. So if you would like to know more then please feel free to ask. Another former lurker who thought it was time to finally sign up and start posting! I'm a newly-realized femme in her late 20's just starting to come into her own. I'm currently bouncing around in Atlantic Canada (more specifically, the Maritimes for those in the know) and am hoping to find the sort of vibrant, welcoming B/F community which is so hard to find around here near the Bay of Fundy. I suspect I will have many more questions than answers or anecdotes to contribute, but I'll try my best to be both a giver and a taker (for any who might be into that sort of thing ;-) ).
