Earlier this summer, I was looking for a gift for a friend. At Toys R Us I inquired as to where they kept the Erector Sets. This very nice early 20s girls thought for a minute and said "I've never heard of that." I fought with myself and my better side won, so I didn't strangle her then and there.

I start to describe what I'm looking for thinking maybe the name has changed. She finally got the idea and directed me to an aisle. There isn't a brand name "Erector Set" anymore. And they're way more complicated than that used to be.

I used to buy these for my sons, who always wanted them.....matter of fact, my boys would get into my lipstick and ruin my lipstick, so I'd buy these for them because it took their minds off getting into my stash of lipstick, plus they'd always smooch me up good and proper wearing these fake candy lips, LOL :blush: :giggle:
