I am heading to the jacuzzi after a looooonnnnng yesterday of helping the movers at my Ex's.. Helping Peg sort through her walk-in closet, doing the "Keep or Donate" thing had us cracking up!! She wanted to KEEEP ththis and that, in case she gains weight. I HAVE the opposite problem. Ended up filling 3 full size wardrobes, and just shipping it to Oregon to surprise our Grandaughter and let her help Gramma sort it out up there. She wanted to "Keep " everything, even if she went from a size 10 to 6 which is hanging on her. Smoking is a killer. Lost my Mom to it with lung cancer, now my estranged wife with COPD, emphysema and Altzheimer's. Separated since 1997, I never saw imagined this sort of thing coming . Few more weeks and I'll take Peg and Freedom the cat to live with our Grandaughter, who will be looking after her full time, as long as she can. Then, the house goes up for sale. |

Just found out a little bit ago that my aunt passed away the day I left for college over a week ago. I was in classes all week and my mother didn't even tell me....claims she didn't want to distract my work there.....So I light these candles for my Aunt Janice.

I light this candle for those that need it... I silently sit in its glow and know that my mother holds me close tonight... It was her favorite rose... Not sure how she knows I need her strength tonight... she must be smiling down on me from heaven...
