I had a hard conversation with my employee, had a good day at work, came home and did some touch up painting after taking care of the :cat:. I've eaten and am watching my dvr'ed shows.

Oh and I broke my pizza cutter too.

I went on a bit of a bender...

It all started because I got the new entertainment center cabinet with copious storage. I knew in had unpacked books so...

I went in my storage area and got the books to unpack. Recycled the box

Found stuff I no longer needed in said storage and packed a box to bring to donate tomorrow

Found my sewing stuff fell over and organized it

Unpacked the remnants of a box....its been almost 2 years...:|

Organized my holiday stuff into one tidy box.

Stowed various other things into a lidded bin.

Cleaned my storage area..

Found twisty things to make my bedroom blinds open...the wandy thing

Cleaned the light fixture in the storage area...it was cobwebby and gross

Cooked and cleaned and various house stuff

Raked the back yard before it got too dark

Went and did wash and hung it to dry

Organized a HEAP of recycling...I mean a literal heap

Got the electrician to finally fix my box....which wasn't broken. There was a flipped switch that I didn't see...I told him his wife was gonna swear I was making stuff up just to see him....charm can go a long way in covering up stupidity...ahem he DID hardwire my smoke detectors since he was here...so now I won't burn to death in my bed :)

I just fixed my garbage disposal that was humming and not turning. Found a YouTube video that said I should use the special wrench that came with it.

It worked like a charm.

Now I'm ready to fix something else.

It's not quite 11am now. In no particular order, I got up and got ready and hit the gym, fed and loved on the :cat:, showered and ate, went to the grocery store, picked up a movie, made a list for additional shopping, printed online coupons, watching a couple of shows in my dvr, answered a question from my employee and laid out my clothes for the rest of the day.

Gayandgray 03-19-2016 05:16 PM

I did the required number of squats in my squats challenge, I got the yard work done that I wanted to do even though it rained and snowed/sleeted off and on (didn't bother me in the least), and all the regular daily stuff like cook, clean, give my spouse her shower, meds, etc. All in all it was a good day.:rrose::rrose:

QueenofSmirks 03-19-2016 05:36 PM

I mailed off one of the textbooks I sold, and took 2nd place in a poker tournament. My work is done.

Today I used the weed whacker for the first time, didn't do too bad. Whacked under the trees and the little areas, around the planters against the railing of the porch, and the little garden area next to the driveway.

Now if I can find the extra energy to use the blower, lol, I will clean up the mess I made doing it. Tomorrow is another day.

Laundry is still going, washing blankets, furniture covers..... no rest for the weary huh? Towels, kitchen towels and potholders.... Now the drawer is filled with clean towels and clean potholders.

I grabbed a piece of "Wonder Woman" fabric the other day, just a fat quarter, but I think I can get 6 potholders out of it. Have several pieces that just has a portion of WW on them, perhaps I can use them as patches or something? Maybe to put on dish towels? Now there is an idea. Humm.

Have chicken soup cooking on the stove right now, should be ready to cut up the chicken breast and add the rice, ttyl.

Finally got all my paperwork together so I can file my taxes. I usually have it done by this time. But I've been slacking.

Fixed breakfast and washed dishes
Mowed the front 40
Cleaned of the front porch
Took a load to the dump
Cleaned the baby chicks pen
Moved the goats

It takes team work to keep life on the farm running smoothly. My roomie and I make a good team.

Cleaned out the coop and fed the chickens

Cleaned litter tray and fed the rabbits

Took an hour long bubble bath

Cooked and ate breakfast

Baked carrot cupcakes

Made up 3 chicken salad boxes for lunches

Mowed front and back, first time this year (lawns looks patchy)

Weeded and swept drive and paths

Attended fundraiser coffee afternoon taking along the cupcakes, had a good catch up with friends, snuggled with 3 babies, only ate one slice of coffee cake even though it was especially delicious and my favourite cake and won a bottle of baileys in the raffle! :)

Purchased a two step stool, grass seed and hollyhock bulbs on the way home

Seeded thin and baldy patches on lawn

Filled the bird feeder

Cooked and ate dinner

Tucked feathered and furry peeps up for the night

Now chilling in front of the fire in my favourite jammies

I accomplished..

Pinching my finger between a roll of coins and the sharp edge of the counter, trying to crack it opened. I slammed it on the edge and then let out a few voice words. Um, yeah, it pinched me good. Pretty red mark and all.

Well, it's like I always say, "if you're gonna do something, do it good".

I chomped the inside of my cheek a few days ago and today is the first day that I haven't felt it first thing when I woke up.

Lecheloco 03-21-2016 08:40 AM

Yesterday I got 2 week's worth of paperwork finished, realized I don't have enough time for everything I want and need anymore and I managed to actually sleep without waking up coughing every 20 minutes I only woke up once

Today I got a head start on work, I have managed to get 6 hrs of the day's work finished and it has only been 3 and half hours. I must be feeling better for sure

I wrap them in an old kitchen towel and then just give them a whack with my rolling pin. After that it's easy to pick the wrapper paper out and then carry them in the towel over to the change jar and dump them in. It makes really quick work of opening multiple rolls at once.

JDeere 03-21-2016 08:33 PM

Putting together and putting up my over the door shoe rack.

Kenna 03-21-2016 09:13 PM

2 visits to the neighbor's to check on them, then pick up my cooler and make further arrangements to move the deck over here.

A trip to the post office to weigh a care package.
Drop by the thrift store.

Back home to do a bunch of chores; laundry, dishes, clean out cage for baby chicks, give my sweetheart doggie his meds, take goats to their pasture, chop up veggies and fishing worms very tiny to feed to a very tiny baby turtle, stomp around the yard trying to figure out how to make a brooding box for the chicks, fed the cats, cleaned up after my other rotten dog who tore up the rubber mat in his crate, gave my sweetheart doggie a special bath with medicated shampoo.... Wore my ass out.
