I lite my candle in honor of my father who passed this morning at 6:45am. I miss him already but know he's trying to beat my brother at Spades and is cheating... and they're laughing... For you Dad. Today tomorrow and always. I love you.

Give thanks to all who were along on my journey that was more than just 900 mere miles.

A long long journey, and that Jacuzzi hot tub at the Best Western at the end of the road. New respect for and a knowledge about love and life and loss of more than material things. A time for grieving it all and being thankful for it all and a time for rest and peace between all things big and small.

I am always lighting candles and saying prayers for people who need it most. Sadly, on this day, I am lighting them for myself. I am ashamed to do this, but I need it. I'm feeling so overwhelmed lately. Between major health issues and having to move, it's too much. I'm usually so tough, but it feels like my fight has taken leave of me for a while. I know I will get it back, but today, I don't want to struggle. Thank you and bless each and everyone of you here.

I light my candles today for E/everyone and A/anyone that needs a respite from stress and tension. May the light of the flames replenish Y/your energy. May My energy and positive thoughts help ease your burden today.

… a time for remembering the fun times, the laughter and the LOVE…
… a time for healing and learning how to deal with the pain…
… a time for growing strength in shielding ourselves from shame…
… and like Tommi said, a time for rest and peace between all things big and small…
… we could do none of this without being connected to each other and to Spirit…

Rest In Peace, Phyllis. You were so loved and and will be so missed.

Today I am focusing my energy on diabetes and all the people surrounding it. I am sending out my energy, prayers, and positive thoughts to all researchers; may they finally find a cure or at least a better treatment. To all doctors may you have the knowledge and compassion to hear when you patients tell you that the treatment is worse then the illness. To all members of society may you realize that while it is not cancer it is just as important to have knowledge of and support for those suffering from it. To all that suffer from it whether Type 1 or Type 2 I send you healing energy so that you may endure the side affects of the pills, the pain of the needles, and the constant desire for a cure.

To all that see this I ask that you join your energy in whatever way you believe with mine and countless others to find a cure.
