Just bought before my trip .
Super cute fall/holiday inspired plaid bra! I want to wear it as a top..lol
New nightgown, pink with lemons ( still on that lemon kick) trimmed with pink lace. Sweet dreams for me!
Christmas flannel, whipped up some pillow cases for my Cali friends!

And then traveling snacks.

easygoingfemme 10-30-2024 05:02 PM

Glow in the dark glasses and bracelets for trick-or-treaters.

Soft*Silver 10-30-2024 07:31 PM

Christmas presents for the grandchildren. They are completely done. So are my daughter and my son-in-law. Half of my husbands Christmas is done oh boy!

Chancie 11-08-2024 06:45 PM

I was going to say that I hadn’t bought anything today, but that would have been a lie because I’ve been buying presents for Pete, and today I ordered boxer briefs with a big splashy image of Eggo waffles.

Kätzchen 11-12-2024 10:20 AM

I’ve been buying (in advance) a lot house housecleaning products and toilet paper and beefing up my supplies for things that will be way too expensive to buy once the dictator takes over our country. I won’t support paying huge prices for things I need after the first of the year. Hopefully I have enough of everything to last a few years. :|

GeorgiaMa'am 11-12-2024 09:20 PM

I've been stocking up too, mainly on things that go on sale this time of year, like Campbell's cream-of-something soups. I got them for 79 cents a can! They're usually $1.99 or $2.19. I use them to cook with a lot.

PlatinumPearl 11-16-2024 04:13 PM

I Bought...

A pack of 3 luggage locks
Small slim card holder in a deep chocolate brown
Band-aid adhesive bandages in assorted sizes
Oil of oregano capsules

GeorgiaMa'am 11-17-2024 11:48 PM

-some Batman Hot Wheels (a gift)
- a gold chain for a pendant I already have
- a bonsai tree kit (a white elephant gift)
- a science ABCs book (a gift)
- groceries

cinnamongrrl 11-19-2024 07:14 AM

I’m buying four good sized shelves for my new kitchen. I had been looking at paying a small fortune for something to use for storage in this certain space, but the universe (ie: Facebook marketplace) has provided them for a mere $10.
I’m also getting a free crib mattress. They make the best dog beds. You can wipe them down and everything.

bicentennialjenn 11-19-2024 10:59 PM

Always storage

I bought a linen cabinet that I hope matches the furniture in the area intended. I needed a specific size, so limited options. But can't wait until delivery, at least it's assembled so I won't have to deal with the door hinges... certainly not a fav task of mine.

Bèsame* 11-20-2024 07:12 AM

Delivered from Amazon yesterday...

Box of Christmas cards. Has a red cardinal on them.
A tee shirt for a friend.

I'm looking for a stick vacuum next.

Soft*Silver 11-20-2024 10:49 AM

Very pretty a white and turquoise shade of art deco bedroom set. Fell in love with it the moment I saw it on marketplace.
A kitchen pantry To store on my canning jars and supplies
Metal shelving units for the basement. I’m creating an indoor grow room to start seedlings very late in the winter to transfer them out to the Greenhouse early spring. Eventually, it will grow vegetables all winter long for us

Bèsame* 11-21-2024 09:05 PM

Black Friday Deal for me!

Every woman's dream...a vacuum!
A cordless, rechargeable stick vacuum. Should be easier than dragging out the other vacuum and eliminate the Swiffer and broom.

Buy Today

Some black tshirts for me. Blue ones for my bro for xmas and a boomerang ball for the little one for xmas. Not much so far but I procrastinate on making a list and deciding.

GeorgiaMa'am 11-22-2024 02:22 AM

Several gifts, some for others and some for me :)

- a blue sweater (me)
- another longer gold chain to go with the pendant (me)
- herbal cure (me)
- a fancy heating pad and a weighted, lavender eye pillow (gift)
- some gourmet goodies (grade A maple syrup, chili crisp, hot cocoa mix) (gift basket)
- a stuffed white elephant plushie (I'm going to put it in the white elephant gift pile, and it will be a joke when someone opens it - then I'm going to give them their real present, which will be in a tote on the floor at my feet. I know it's been done before, but not with this group. Also, they can give the plushie to my 2-year-old nephew if they want - or they can keep it.)

GeorgiaMa'am 11-22-2024 02:45 AM

I forgot a gift, and it was probably the most fun one for me to buy; I designed a t-shirt for the boy at Zazzle. It says "heteroflexible" across the front, the term he prefers to "bisexual", and it has a bisexual symbol over the pocket. It turned out really cute, if I do say so myself!

GeorgiaMa'am 11-25-2024 07:01 PM

- foam outside faucet covers
- storage containers for leftovers
- a UGA college football jersey (gift for the boy)

I love shopping at this time of year! (now that there's the internet - I don't miss going to the stores at this time of year at all.)

easygoingfemme 11-26-2024 06:13 AM

Light up crocs for my youngest nephew who loves everything crocs. I also got some croc accessories: Pins for them, and little snow plows you can attach to the front and a head lamp that you can attach to the top. So he can scoot around in his driveway and plow snow with his crocs.

Also: A shirt for my elder nephew that says "Don't startle me, I fart easily"

I love bathing with goat's milk soap! It leaves my skin feeling wonderful.

Stone-Butch 11-27-2024 04:26 PM

What Did you Buy Today?

ty things like chocolates "Merci" mix. New gloves, new kitchen towels, new BR towels for hands, load of things for the little one (not candy), ty dinner cards for my best neighbours in the world, other ty cards and Xmas cards. Money for three of the young ones. (they run errands). Groceries and crackers (veggie and swiss) Chips and dip for anyone who pops in with crackers and cheese. Lots of ice tea, bought a case of Pepsi. No alcohol here lol unless they bring their own. Most would find me boring thats ok. No smoking and no drugs. Tea coffee or water flows here .....

easygoingfemme 11-27-2024 05:45 PM

I didn't know they do a Frankincense and Myrrh laundry soap! I need to get that. I keep their air freshener in my office at work. Thanks for the tip!

GeorgiaMa'am 11-30-2024 12:01 AM

A WoodWick candle for someone I just found out is going to drop by on Christmas Eve.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-01-2024 12:37 AM

Two baby blankets and a crib sheet for something called a "baby sprinkle". My niece is having her second child. I thought you only had showers for the first baby, and then handed those things down to the next baby. I guess some things got worn out though, and the first baby is only 2 and a half. He probably still uses some things, like his baby blanket and car seat. Anyway, that is taken care of.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-03-2024 04:14 PM

This is not technically something I bought today - I bought it a few weeks ago. All the candy stocking stuffers I bought for the boy were in a bag under my bed - and now I'm pretty sure I threw them out in yesterday's trash. :| So I guess I will be buying candy stocking stuffers again when I order groceries. I hope they still have the fun Santa and Christmas shapes in stock.

I did buy some new hangers today, though. They are curved instead of having that funky hanger shape. They are supposed to be for sweaters and suits. My sweaters always get those weird scrunches in the shoulders. Hopefully these will work.

I bought one of these last month and LOVE. Mine breaks down to also be a dust buster size for doing stairs and such. Congratulations on your new life hack!

Better tires for my car: I even got a rebate on all four tires which made buying them more affordable than last time I bought tires three years ago. ツ

nhplowboi 12-06-2024 02:10 PM

With the deep freeze the northeast is in I decided soup on the wood stove is called for. I went to Wally today and bought a Lodge flat dutch oven (I have a footed one more suited for camp fires) and a few fixings. We'll see how it goes tomorrow when I get my soup cooking on.

$200 of meds for my poor, sick little pup. She's been through so much.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-06-2024 10:46 PM

Christmas odds and ends, and a new pair of shoes. The are blue with square capped toes and chunky low heels - very fashionable. And on sale!

Bèsame* 12-07-2024 07:07 AM

I ordered on line last night, 2 boxes that will hold 24 🎄 Christmas cupcakes. One will go the lunch buddy's class next week and the other will go to my new Doctor's office. That office has helped me with the irritating leave of absence papers!

Also I need to pick up some sweet potatoes for dinner later.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-07-2024 03:05 PM

- a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel Proof (a gift)
- I ordered earlier but they came today: Disney Stitch and Nightmare Before Christmas sleep pants (also a gift)
- groceries, but nothing exciting, just the usual

Thank you for all the well wishes and compassion. As soon as she gets enough meds in her system, she'll be feeling better. This MRSA infection is no joke.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-09-2024 11:02 PM

Stocking stuffers:
- a hamburger press
- a thumb drive
- a 10-foot phone charging cable

and a couple more small gifts from "Santa":

Oh, that's the very best way to season with nutmeg! There's just no comparison between the jarred stuff and grating your own.

GeorgiaMa'am 12-12-2024 02:02 AM

- loads of wrapping paper, because my stash is totally out
- Mtn Dew for the caffeine boost and sugar rush

GeorgiaMa'am 12-29-2024 04:12 AM

After-Christmas sale stuff:

I snuck out of the house for a mani pedi and to have my roots touched up.

There is such a thing as too much togetherness.
