Oh lookie!!! Keira Knightley did this song!!!! Some folks prefer her version. I like them both. :winky: Lost Stars (from "Begin Again") -- Keira Knightley Please don't see just a boy/girl caught up in dreams and fantasies Please see me reaching out for someone I can't see Take my hand, let's see where we wake up tomorrow Best laid plans sometimes are just a one night stand I'll be damned, Cupid's demanding back his arrow So let's get drunk on our tears and God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run Searching for meaning, but are we all lost stars Trying to light up the dark? I thought I saw you out there crying, ooh And I thought I heard you call my name, yeah And I thought I heard you out there crying, oh Just the same, oh, yeah God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run Searching for meaning, but are we all lost stars Trying to light up the dark? Who are we? Just a spec of dust within the galaxy Woe is me if we're not careful turns into reality Don't you dare let our best memories bring you sorrow Yesterday I saw a lion kiss a deer Turn the page maybe we'll find a brand new ending Where we're dancing in our tears and God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run Searching for meaning, but are we all lost stars Trying to light up the dark? I thought I saw you out there crying, ooh And I thought I heard you call my name, yeah And I thought I heard you out there crying, oh Just the same, oh, yeah God, give us the reason youth is wasted on the young It's hunting season and the lambs are on the run Searching for meaning, but are we all lost stars Trying to light up the dark? I thought I saw you out there crying, ooh And I thought I heard you call my name, yeah... But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark? But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark? ~Theo~ :winky::listening::bouquet: |

Look for you away alone
When shadows come When pushcarts to shove I won稚 leave When you want to fall apart When it tears your heart When you feel like giving in I値l believe In the darkest night I値l be waiting for you I値l shine for the both of us I will carry you through I will be your fire When everything goes dim I値l burn for the both of us Let the light back in When your days are cold and grey When the warm sun fades When all you see is rain I won稚 leave When the waves crash down From the oceans deep When it all seems out of reach I値l believe In the darkest night I値l be waiting for you I will shine for the both of us I will carry you through I will be your fire When everything goes dim I値l burn for the both of us Let the light back in Let the light back in Let the light back in |

Life is like a merry go round...you're up and then down going in circles...we all make mistakes you might fall on your face but you gotta get up. I am a conqueror..*S

One of my friends was talking tonight about a book she has been reading in her book club and how the subsequent movie, film, by the same name, left out some of the story - in particular, the storyline of an cast character. Which the title of the book/film made me think of a song by the same title, and weirdly enough, the songstress and my friend share the same first name.
I love this song, especially how the voice is paired off with the longing of the cello and harp. :stillheart: Heidi Elva ~ The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter . |

Reba singing one of the first songs from a country singer about AIDS
She Thinks His Name Was John Lyrics She can account for all of the men in her past Where they are now, who they married, how many kids they have She knew their backgrounds, family and friends A few she even talks to now and then But there is one she can't put her fingers on There is one who never leaves her thoughts And she thinks his name was John A chance meeting, a party a few years back Broad shoulders and blue eyes, his hair was so black He was a friend of friend you could say She let his smile just sweep her away And in her heart she knew that it was wrong But too much wine and she left his bed at dawn And she thinks his name was John Now each day is one day that's left in her life She won't know love, have a marriage or sing lullabies She lays all alone and cries herself to sleep 'Cause she let a stranger kill her hopes and her dreams And all her friends say what a pity what a loss And in the end when she was barely hangin' on All she could say is she thinks his name was John She thinks his name was John |
