Y'know.. 21 jumpstreet, the Odd Couple, Laverne & Shirley, Taxi, Maude, facts of life, bosom buddies, and yeah diff'rent strokes.... Maybe a few old mr. rogers, sesame street {when snuffy was all in big birds head, and mr. hooper was alive.} Maybe Double Dare, Heathcliff, Inspector Gadget.. :glasses: |

Tonight I had dinner with my sash husband and his pups...the pups are two legged and the husband is one of the K-9 Unit founders in SF. Nothing better than scratching behind a puppy's ear. smiles

okay...so I just changed my costume for the day...choice #1 made me feel dull and old...I'm already in a 'mood'...outfit #2 makes me feel better...knee high black-leather boots...really cool fishnets and knee legnth dress...what a relief...

I hate when I'm trying to load a webpage, and everytime I try to do it I get either that the page expired or it can't load ~ *GRRRRRR* I hate that :rant:

Today is my youngest daughter's 23rd birthday!!!!!!!!!!
She's in Michigan, gathering the rest of her things (in Mom's SoccerMomMobile) to bring back to Tejas.....so there will be cake upon her return! |
Seriously. My doorbell just rang. A very sweaty guy was at the door with a bottle of Dawn dishwasher detergent in his hand. I actually answered the door because I am expecting a lawn care guy tonight (who I haven't met). Anyway, he's at the door and two guys are in the SUV. He wants to come in and demonstrate a vacuum cleaner. If he can just demonstrate one more, he'll be done for the day and go home.
I politely declined the Dawn detergent ... and his offer to come into my home to demonstrate a vacuum. He said, "really? you sure? awwwwwwwwww. shoot!" I'm thinking: :chainsaw: |

I got news tonight that the government program I applied to for possibly funding college came through, so now I only have to find a college to get accepted into and then hopefully this fall I'll be a college student :D
And not only that, I just got a picture of the most amazingly bright and beautiful rainbow I've seen in years ~ its the little things like such a natural beauty splayed out across the sky that can remind us that no matter how ugly things may seem there is always something amazing out there waiting for us to experience it :clap: |
I just know that I am much more efficient in the office on days when my boss is on vacation. He's gone for a week and we do just fine. Shows up today and slows us down unbelievably. And there's no polite way to just say, "hey, could you go back on vacay?" Grrrr ...lol
