Good Morning CF,

Why is your ex's current partner and your ex talking about you? In my opinion, the new g/f has no right to say anything about you.

My roommate is hosting her niece's birthday party today and I spent the majority of yesterday cleaning. I'm not looking forward to this.

Have fun today and remember, to smile,

Zimmy

Not sure why they were talking about me but I plan on finding this out. It was my thought that the current gf has no right to say anything about me, thanks for validating that feeling, Zimmy.
Try to enjoy your roommate's niece's birthday party, easier said that done, I know.
Have a wonderful day despite the birthday party!

Can certainly understand not being happy with this.

An ex of mine once said something similar to me (though it wasn't subserviant). My response was "How lovely. Please thank her for me and let her know that I'm so glad she has begun to use larger words in her sentences."

You're right, nobody has the right to talk about someone behind a person's back. I would have said that but I was shocked. I haven't finished talking to my ex about this and will definately bring this up. My ex and I remain friends (well maybe we won't after I tell her what I think about this mess) and her gf is jealous although why I have no clue

:reader: Checked the Rule Book and found absolutely nothing in there that states you and your ex must, should or need to ever remain friends.

If you work together then cordial or polite is understandable.

I need a copy of the Rule Book. I'm not friends with any of my ex's except for this one and even then I'm not the one that calls, texts or anything like that. Most times we do fine except when this current gf wants to run her mouth.

Sorry about your ex cf.. dealing with my own ex issues myself. NOT fun!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful sunday. I have had a very nice weekend but now I am fighting a migraine! Yuck.. Hopefully I have nipped it in the bud.

Goooood Morning Singles! Wow, this weekend went fast, now we're back to Monday :( Its also hard to believe that March is just a few days away. They say the weather is supposed to go up to 80 today...its so chilly now that I'll believe it when I feel it lol
Its time for another cup of coffee. I hope you all have a terrific day!

Morning Singles, and have a great week end!!

Good Afternoon singles,,I had my interview today with two different people and it went well. It is wound care and the people are chronically ill so they always have some kind of wound that is open and has to be debridded and cleaned out. Yikes I will see some blood and what not but the experience is good. And it might turn into something permanent so that would be good for me. Yay I love that hospital too its a great place to work and go back to school for nursing as well.

Hello everyone,

I am new on the planet and am slowly going through and finding my way, so far so good! I am 45 years old, single as well as learning life is a beautiful thing! I am a retired (yes at 45 lol) welder. I spent my days ( and nights) on turn overs and ship building. Now its time for me to awaken and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I am glad my friends told me about the planet I have met some very nice people here... I am shy in the beginning but find my footing quickly..I love to read Stephen King, Dean R Koontz and any other book no matter the topic! I am at ease near the water in the woods or just working on anything that is broken... I love music, hiking, reading, dinner out, and anything that will inspire laughter and peacefulness... I am a hopeless romantic! I have a huge family that loves me very much and I them. I am Irish, my family is Irish, Hispanic. I speak read and write Spanish.. I love to travel and look forward to that as I can now...

Thanks for the thread and nice to meet all of you here on the planet...
