Good morning lofters!

sooooooooooooooooo had the procedure done on wednesday. I kind of get a kick out of the anesthisia teams everytime they put me under. They ask me.."ever had problems with anesthesia before?" my answer is always... my blood pressure runs low with it.

Apparently, they never believe me because they always wake me up with a "boy! you weren't lying!" and this time.. I had to be medicated to get my blood pressure to come up a bit. My syst. number fell down to 50. They didn't say how low the actual b/p went, but when the upper number falls to 50, they get scared.

Lisa's I have the exact same issue with surgery - and the same issues with disbelief!

Morning everyone :) Morningstar, hope you're having a fabulous time at LR! We want to see photos of you looking all glamed up!

My singing lesson for this morning was cancelled so I suppose there's no putting off the housework (yucky housework - how come I can't do it just once?!). It's overcast and has been raining so that means Madam Puppydog won't be getting her shower today. I have to catch up on my study and that's about it. Nothing else planned for the weekend although there is a small matter of damn bettlenut juice on my car (evil glared at bettlenut spitter).

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

Well Happy Saturday for all of us that stayed home from the reunion!

I'm in my PJ's all day, football, magazines etc. I kinda over-did it yesterday, so it's a quiet day for me

Hope everyone is having some happy in their day!! :D

Welcome Scottish...You were in my neck of the woods. I live in south Jersey. Cape May is a wonderful place. Great for a wedding!

I just turned 54...geez who can believe that (not me)/ I have learned to take it easy as I don't really have the stammia to do the things I used to do. The last job I had, my youmg bosses expected me to work like the rest of the 20 year olds...not gonna happen. I have now moved to Nebraska to take care of mom. Life has slowed down quite a bit.....I'm liking it.

Advanced style

This video is fun ... fashion at an older age. It takes money dress the way these women do, but what I do like is that they haven't botoxed their ages off their faces. And, they're happy and comfortable expressing who their are regardless of their age.

See the dr tomorrow night. My stomach is calming down, but not better and we think there may be some bleeding happening somewhere and anemia(of course) as well. Hopefully it will be an easy fix. :praying:

ruthie14 09-26-2012 05:31 PM

Two-spirit... love that name. I had a native american friend who's father used to call hym that. Brings hys memory back to my heart. Thanks for that. I miss hym. Not sure where hy is now or how hy is. Lost touch. Hy used to be on the dash site.

Your name made me smile. Thank you..

So...I have been walking around in pain for the past few days. I finally realized it was because of all the dancing at the Reunion. I guess the alcohol dulled the pain, but now that I am back to work...OW. Just another reminder that I am about to turn 45.
