Crafters.... I have a question... I am going to decorate a bra. Making it Mermaid worthy. Now do I sew items on or glue? and if I am glueing what type of glue do you recommend?

Lady Rain had a small booth at a craft fair where she sold them as a special set for a hefty sum.

Lady Rain pulverized the Altoid tins and made a spectacular pair of heavy earrings for herself.

If in Canada send me 10. Please send me your package without any confirmation or need for signature. It's more likely to get lost at the nyc post office while it waits for me to come sign it than it is to just reach me without all that. To determine the number of postsecret postcards to make, subtract one (yourself) and you will know how many cards to make. PM me your address and I will send you mine IF we've never sent each other anything in the mail before (almost all of you I have before). You can make all the same postcard or all different ones. Secrets can be anonymous or you can sign your name, and you can let me decide who gets what or you can specify by writing it on the reverse side of the postcard (e.g. To: ahk From: Bleu -- or just From: Bleu or just To: ahk). All secrets must be kept secret and sacred, because while some go for light or not personal; some use it for catharsis. Postcards do not have to be 4x6, just reasonably sized. If you want to specify a "from" or a "to" (reminder: you can leave blank if you want, and I'll decide and you'll be anonymous), but you used both sides of your postcard for the project then just put it in a ziploc type baggie and stick a label on it or write on the baggie with permanent marker. just found this thread this morning - as I browse while having my coffee and trying not to slip in a cold meds induced state of unconsciousness...lol

i don't know that I would call myself an artist - but I do enjoy - all things paper related - pen paper - handmade quills and ink ...even have tried my hand at homemade paper -

I do some sculpture and would love to try my hand at the pottery thing again one of these days...

and yes - there is nothing quite like finding a handwritten note amongst the daily diluge of things that fills one's mailbox ... and I am bad about corresponding as I should - having had a fine gentleman friend from New Zealand for many years now - we write lengthy letters about twice a year - and it's nice to see that in my mailbox every now and again...our lives are so busy - and I'm all for "digital communication" it's great ...but nothing quite like reaching in the top drawer of the old desk and pulling out a clean white sheet of linen paper and some fine ink to write to your love - or to an old friend - or maybe even a new friend...

As always - just my two cents worth...

Just a reminder that projects are due by the end of this month. Also, please remember they can be as totally simple or time intensive as you want. At least for me, it's the cathartic act of writing out a secret that makes this project most meaningful.

I am having such the hardest time getting 9 secrets out-- but I will be sending them out soon.
